What do you do when you buy something here from another member and everything goes wrong?

I mean, I don't want to put the person on a shitlist as I feel like they didn't maliciously do something wrong to a site, but they definitely pretended as if they knew what they were doing and completely and totally dropped the fucking ball. Like, without apology even.
I bought a service from someone on here this last week and they did the absolute worst job I have ever seen with a social networking service, to the point that it basically ruined the intended target. They have a few stars in their profile, they seemed legit, they talked like they have done this before in multiple posts on the forum, and then when it came down to doing it they had little to no ability to give the results they stated they could give.

So I guess what I am really asking is, what do you do when the person is just really inept at what they do and not maliciously trying to defraud anyone, but instead just really fucking suck at marketing/SEO? Do they still go into the shitlist with screencaps of your convos, or should you just warn people you see buying things from them via PM?

The most important question is - did they or did they not deliver what was promised / ordered?

If the answer to this is "no" then shitlist them. There's no reason to leave their service operating only so that others would order from him and get the same experience. If the answer is "yes, but the quality was low" then there's no reason to shitlist them (you ordered and they delivered - providing low quality isn't equal to scamming), but if I were you I would leave my honest review of their service in their sales thread and move on. Certainly don't go PM-ing their other customers - do something more productive with your time.

What really bothered me is that after I complained and sent him messages showing how obviously pissed and disappointed I was with his services, he then had the audacity to ask me if I would leave him a good review so that he could sell more of his services. I also feel torn because I don't want to out what I paid him for, as it's a service that only I and a few other people offer on their sites. Maybe I should just eat it for right now and disregard mentioning it again.
