Same old shit every year. This was being posted 5 years ago and still hasn't changed.
What has really changed in Google and SEO?
Google is desperate to push PPC to keep shareholders happy and wants to promote search results based on user's search history. What this means is that organic search will be pushed out in favour of more personal search and PPC.
We should also watch Facebook graph search as this will impact Google SEO and has Google shitting their little panties.
As far as linkbuilding is concerned be prepared to work harder to avoid being penalised by Google. Everything that worked 5 years ago still does, however google also penalises at the same time so you're in a minefiled. Find sources of high pagerank links to keep rankings secure.

Yes I agree with you 100% that despite any efforts made by Google to increase their revenue by PPC, SEO has always and will continue to be important and will always deliver free targeted traffic once ranked. I'm curious to see how the whole Graph Search thing goes but with it being launched and introduced by FaceBook I'm sure it will be successfull. Just one more thing for all of us to worry about and work on.

Helpful content will definitely be beneficial because this will increase the User Experience and the average visitor duration time on your site which is what Google is looking for. You accomplish these two things and you'll be good to go.

No problem I'm glad you enjoyed it. Sometimes, there may not be huge changes but it's always good as a reminder to keep up on the things that matter as they can sometimes slip by with getting caught up in other tasks.

Social signals are really important these days and we need to combine these with other many high quality backlinks. It is always clear that quality is more important than quantity. Getting these important backlinks from different sources will avoid the footprint and give improvement to google.

hey OP, this mite be a dumb question but for the sake of being on the same page, waht do u mean by social signals?

Social Signals as an example would be creating a Facebook & Twitter page for your site and spreading your awareness through the Social communities. Posting your site URL on Facebook and getting Likes & Shares is just one example of Social Shares. I hope this helps

Social signals means sharing our site pages in google+, facebook, twitter, linkedin and getting more and more likes and deep linking will give social impact to our pages.

Well, most of it is true... or Mostly I agres, should I say. However I tend to stick with the theory that if you are not able to automate or at lest outsource most of the labour job most possibly you fail. It's all about how effective your strategy is, most of the whitehat strategies are fairly ineffective and time consuming, you can spend months and months making what Google told you to do just to realize that it's a piece of cake for blachatters to outrank your website. Anyways, the best way to go is to automate whitehat methods but it automatically turns into blackhat, lol. Google wants you to suffer :banana:

I think EMD's are good and I still believe they have a lot of value. I made recent post regarding an EMD I bought just 6 days ago and it's already ranking on Page 1 with a good amount of Exact Monthly Searches with a $3.00+ CPC in the Weight Loss niche. With that said, Exact Match Domains are still worth investing into. I hope this helps.
