So far I am really liking the package.
A couple of features that I think would be extremely useful:
1- Being able to select which methods each bot is using to collect points and save those settings with a specific profile
(each method that site has for gaining points is listed with a checkbox that you can select or deselect for each separate profile that you save, with a specific section listed as "single instance methods" listing any methods known to have problems if there are multiple instances going on simultaneously, I don't know personally which ones would need to go in this section, but youtube and facebook are probably a good start)
for example: I may not want to use the retweet method on one of the sites that only has the option of inputting one twitter account.
-AND- I don't want to have multiple bots trying to watch youtube videos at the same time, because my IP will get banned faster, etc...
This could be done a few ways:
A - Manually based on "single instance methods"- any profile that I save with a "-Y" appended to the end I know means it does not use any youtube methods, any profile that I save with a "-F" appended to the end means that it does not run any facebook methods, any profile that I save with a "-YF" at the end means that it doesn't run any youtube or facebook methods, etc...
So if I am running multiple bots, I just make sure when I select the profiles, that the part after the "-" is different for each bot I have running simultaneously so there are no conflicts.
B - Automatically by profile- There could be a "Bot Manager" that runs a check before a bot starts running to make sure that there are no profiles currently running in any of the bots with a conflicting "single instance method" & if there are, there could be an option to automatically select the next non-conflicting profile, to manually select a different profile, to create a new profile based on the current one with the conflicting method de-selected, or to ignore the warning & run it anyway.
C - Automatically by point method- this seems like it would be the most complicated, but possibly the most effective at maximizing all the sites. When switching from one point collection method to the next, a "Bot Manager" checks to make sure no other Bots are currently running that same method (such as watching youtube videos) & if there is a conflict, it moves on to the next method (such as following twitter users) & when done with that method, re-tries the one that was skipped, if there is still a conflict, it moves on to the next one, & then tries again, etc...
-----------------------------------------------------------
2- Being able to set up a schedule for the bots to run (maybe also part of a "Bot Manager")
Something where you could set the start time and end time for each bot along with which profile to use. So you could rotate which bots are using different methods at different times.
-AND/OR- Something where you could set them up in a series...
for example: SET 1 runs for a random time between 1-2 hours simultaneously running Bot A using profile A-Y & Bot B using profile B-F & Bot C using profile C-YF, then when that set ends the SET 2 starts simultaneously running Bot D using profile D-Y & Bot E using profile E-F & Bot F using profile F-YF, and then SET 3, SET 4, etc... then when all the sets are done, it can loop to run again from set 1 or randomize which order the sets are run in.
Anyway, sorry so long, just wanted to throw some ideas out there.
Also, in the mean time, if anyone knows the best program to use to at least schedule starting & stopping the bots possibly using some sort of windows program, that would be helpful too.
Thanks!
