Berman Hosting Off To A Bad Start

Not to sound like a drama queen but man.. I don't understand people's marketing techniques or business ethic sometimes.. I purchased a VPS this morning - 10 hours or so ago - still no email to access my VPS..

Ya it's cheap, ya they allow some blackhat shit but still.. business is business.

Don't advertise "Professional VPS have your server on in minutes" on the front page if it takes 24 hours or more..

I'm certainly being charged for this day, no?

Meh.. that's my rant.. If you're going to provide a professional service.. Be professional.. If not you're just like all the other 3rd tier sites out there trying to make a quick buck..

LOL, I like the diplomacy of your reply...

Most VPS servers take up to 24-48 hours to setup, all the ones I have bought took a full day, but then they didn't advertise "be online in minutes" or whatever.

Good luck and be patient a little longer...

I've totally understand you, you're mad you didn't received your product as advertised but well have in mind that this is how the world spins around, let's look at all sale pages of all ebook that are for sale and so on.
There's no reason after 10 hours of waiting to speak about a company that it's unprofessional. Simple as that. Call them unprofessional when they don't handle your support requests or something like that, but don't call them unprofessional only for a sales page, where all of us that are in this industry know we exagerate a bit.

How do you know they won't compensate for the time you lost ?

That is crap, hostgator had my VPS up in 1-2 hours, they don't take no 24-48... I've dealt with plenty of shit hosting providers in the past so i feel your pain.

Ya most hosts that are established have you up and running quickly.. Hostgator is amazing they're one of my favorite providers - great customer support and amazing services..

Web24 took 3 days and on the 3rd day I had to send in an ID - and only then did they start processing it ... then it only took about 6 hours.

I'm like you when someone says 24 hours I expect 24 hours ... anyway I hope it works out for you shortly.

I ordered from them recently. My vps was up within 24 hours of purchase. After a few hours I sent a ticket to remind them to get it online. 24 hours is reasonable timeframe though I can understand being upset at them for over selling the online in minutes. Still they are quite good though

Cant say im very happy with berman hostings techsupport. They tend to take an awful long time to reply to any tickets. At least 48 hours. My last ticket involved a problem with the control panel. They never fixed it and closed the ticket. Its been 2 weeks problem still not resolved. They are cheap ill give them that. If you need fast support i wouldnt recommend them.

I had a VPS with berman for about like half an year, and yeah, vps setup was about a day and support is kinda slow to response, but for these 6 months i didn't have and a single problem with my VPS. Their service is rock solid about the vps itself

Can't say something bad about it.

Some tickets are slower to get a respond from others i must admit and some never got answered sadly but i can't complain too much. Hey it's dirt cheap !

i use vps from them for a few months without major problem. support is not within minutes but takes a few hours. initial setup took about 24h. vps works well so far.

overall they're legit (so far anyway) in my experience. OP, you can't except to pay $15/mo for a vps and get support within minutes (which requires paid personnel available at all times).

Got my server within 10hrs just fine. Its bit slow w7 1cpu tho...
But overall its great service..
