Official Twitter "Verified" Badge - Possible

Hey,

After doing much research on the forums and google, i still have yet to find anyone who knows or can get the verified twitter badge for the twitter account, i have a friend who claims he can do it for $1500 USD and its done in a week, i have seen his work and it works. But i wanted to know if anyone knows how to do it "Other then" emailing twitter or creating a fake account. I know its been talked about before but i wanted to see if theres any recent changes to this possible service?

I have seen this "FAKE" twitter badge where you just upload your header image but with the png file for the badge. But i see accounts getting banned because of this..

Thoughts, ideas opinions are much appreciated.

For those who want to have the fake twitter badge, which is pointless you can follow these steps... but be WARNED its not SAFE

1, Open your header image into photoshop

2, Add the twitter badge to your header image.

3, Save and upload to twitter, boom new "FAKE" badge

(Image of the badge to your header on your profile, The images are around 520 by 260 pixels, but Twitter recommends the dimensions be 1200 x 600 for decent quality, so the verified icon doesn't look too blurry)

I'm wondering if someone is holding a 2/3 letter username on Twitter, its an egg more than 3 years old & never tweeted is there any way for you to get this?

Adding a verified badge to your background will get you banned, its stupid to try and even stupider to suggest people do it - if you had really done "much research" you would know this.

If your friend was really your friend, surely he'd do yours for free (or a lesser price)?

There are no loopholes unless you genuinely know someone with contacts.

Also, these people are actual celebs but for some reason they can't get verified. one of them was verfied but changed their twitter name and lost verified status.

if you want a verified badge as a mere mortal not as a celeb, you need to pay a few thousand $ in advertising fees per month or need to work for a company who advertise on twitter
i read an article about getting a verified badge and if i can remember well, it's $10k in the first month and $5k per month to maintain the badge

There's plenty of people who claim they can do this, however they just take your money and leave you with empty promises.
I head that some talent agencies have contact with the social networks themselves, and give these badges to their clients. However they're making $xx,xxx from their clients, so I don't believe they'd simply sell it for $1500. It would be a huge cost on their credibility.

A while back I was doing some research on this and saw the name "Eric Kuhn" (He's a Social Media Agent at United Talent Agency) pop up.
It seems that his agency actually had the ability to do this and he'd done if for free for a couple of people. However my attempts to get a reply from them regarding this sort of service have failed so far.
