Does This Loan Site Look Good?

Does it look good or would you say it is lacking in sex appeal. I am considering using this site to funnel a few thousand visitors a month to but i am unsure whether it is READY. I think it is nearly ready in my opinion because alot of loan sites on the web look like junk to me. But i might be biased about my own site. Looks a little out of date to me.

Look up some web designs that are trending and alter your site a bit. Just be sure to keep it user friendly and funnel the traffic to your offers


And I kept going back to that waving smiley face... couldn't read anything. Even though it's cute and nice, take it off the site.

The trouble is, so many loans sites on the web look the same. I was hoping to go simple but effective and maybe stand out that way.

I am not saying this to be mean just giving my opinion but also change the font style its hard on the eyes. I also own a web development firm so I am very picky about layouts and design.

yeah the call to action is nearly invisible
the bottom half of front page is text heavy, maybe try some bullet points and graphics to cut down on text

Now to make this constructive..

I don't like the domain. Seems tacky, you have to balance EMD with Brand. You have the EMD, but no brand. It'd be more appealing if you branded the domain vs using EMD in this scenario. Maybe something like: "Brand"Loans.com.

The homepage is not captivating, seems like there's too much to read. Overwhelming.

I'm very picky when it comes to design, this doesn't seem to work for me. Compare with any other site in a relative category:
