Once basic needs are met with a little disposable income (example 60K yr in US), its been proven additional money doesnt equate to massive changes in how happy you are with life. If you are miserable person at 60K a year, you will statistically be just as miserable if you made 600K a year...
Most people here have no money, in fact I bet most people in this thread have absolutely no net worth to speak of. When you have absolutely no concept of what you perceive to be the ultimate outcome, it's normal to have inaccurate perceptions.
My dad has a friend who lives in NY, and his wife is very high up in Colgate Palmolive - she is the main bread winner earning around $700,000 a year in total take home pay (cash + stock options). They have a daughter who's around 20 who is completely out of control and on just about every drug on the black market, she causes massive problems and is in and out of rehab. This has caused massive relationship problems and as a result they're getting divorced. They're both as broken as a human can be, I mean they have a daughter that's slowly killing herself, and a relationship that's falling apart.
People who think money creates the perfect life think that because they have none, and don't know anybody close enough with any to get a real perspective. You still have every single problem other than money, which actually just causes more problems because with money comes a lot of stress and responsibility.
Good luck if you think money will change anything other then being able to pay more bills.

Your exactly right. I'm not disagreeing with the OP but when you see people with money and the way it controls them they loose grips on morels and thinking they can just buy everything to fix any problem they have which is BULLSHIT.
There are countless stories of people with money going off the deep end, losing people they love, having less friends that actually care about them, more people targeting you because you have money, family seeing you as a way out and weighing you down...
So OP, while you are right initially, down the road unless you are very disciplined with your millions, more then likely you will end up with these same problems.

Money indirectly brings happiness. Giving it brings way more joy than spending it. That's part of why I want to make as much money as I possibly can, to give more.
A truck driver working 18 hours per day may make good money, but he probably hates his life because he has no time at all to do anything with his money.

Your money worries will not change. If you're after living a high consumption lifestyle your bills simply just scale to match your income, and it's very difficult to go backwards, it's better not having anything at all then having it and losing it. People view the world through rose tinted glasses. Most people here are totally out of touch with reality and are totally ignorent to the real world. I think that's because so many try and exclude themselves from it while perusing their wet dream fanatics.
IM is one of the most volatile ways to make money, almost nothing is stable and nothing remains the same for long periods of time. When you start relying on this income and have some serious monthly bill to meet every month, you'll shit yourself. But like I said the majority of people here make no money, and it's always the ones who protest the loudest that they are who are living in trailer parks.
Google Street View is a bitch when including your home address on your Aweber emails. The amount of times I've seen people who say they make $500 a day yet live in a council house or a tower block lol.
The mortgage company doesn't give a fuck if your campaigns stop converting or Google happy slaps all your sites. Just remember that.

Being that this is such a strong statistically significant sample, I have no choice but to admit I was wrong and agree with you. Right.
I never mentioned it was typical. However, it does point out that there are problems money will not solve. Which creates unhappiness. I've bought just about every single thing I thought would make me happy, none of which did so. It's always been the simple things that have brought the long lasting memories and experiences.
Nobody lays on their death bed wishing they spent more time buying more plastic crap. It just doesn't happen.
They simply failed as human beings, doesnt matter how much money they earned.
