1 Article Online for 5 hours - $90 Made

Very nice r00t, I wouldn't have thought that simply submitting it to one article directory would work that well. Congrats!

IMATA....outstanding post The only thing I add is to bookmark Squidoo, Hubpages, Zimbio, Scribd and so on. Those bookmarks will help bolster the position of your articles. Interlinking is an excellent technique as well.

I've now had time to read IMATA's post with attention, and will put everything to action today, with my current articles (: I'll overload the internet with this theme : p

I've now made a total of 180$ in my first week, with 10 articles (from which, 9 were set live only 2-3 days ago).

Thanks everyone for you comments (:

Just out of curiosity, did the 10 articles come from xbox360gurl70s group

or a combo of groups?

I've ordered 5 articles from xbox360gurl70s and 8 from crmarjunkarthik.

I wanted to know which type of articles did these groups wrote, before ordering in a larger scale.

so what's your conclusion between those writers?

Great to read about your success r00t - I'd given up on article marketing a long while back. I think I might give it another try now - and with the extra advice by other people this is very good information! Thanks all.

Now is the time for me to write articles. How did you get approved so quickly at ezine articles?
Do you used totally free offers? That does not require a shipping and handling fee?
Thanks.

You have inspired me r00t. I have an old review style landing page that i was using in conjunction with ezinearticles but i gave up on it a while ago. Even though in the first day. I got ONE article accepted, and got 20 click throughs. (However no sales).

But i just got off my arse and wrote another few articles and posted them in hopes of some success like you :).

This is awesome r00t! Thanks for the inspiration to take the plunge into article marketing. Are you using any Adsense ads with your article postings? I had read somewhere that there is good money in that if you are getting good traffic.

Well, the first one establishes a contact with the reader more easily and the second one gives a more descriptive type of text. The best way to figure that out is to ask them for sample =p

What do you mean by being approved at ezine articles so quickly?
I had an account there since October, and it took maybe 2 days for my first article to be approved. And the other ones were approved along this week.

After having 10 articles submited there I applied to Platinum and got accepted in 5 minutos.

Nop, non totally free offers. They require the user to pay shipping fees, to a max of 2.95$.

Can I use Adsense on the ezine articles? I don't see any option for that.
I'll contact the administration to check that.

And I'm glad that this thread was inspiring for you guys! Take action don't just read. Thanls : D

Nice job, although I do have one question, when you social bookmark, are you bookmarking the landing page or the article? Just wondering how you do it, I've tried social bookmarking a EZine Article (DIGG) some time back and had no luck.

I'm bookmarking the article, to keep it on top serp ranks for a longer time, for a certain keyword

Thanks for sharing. I wonder do writing article is it easy or difficult.

Great ! Congratulations !

Now, here's what I usually do at this point:

1- I keep periodically adding new links ( from new web 2.0 sites; other free blogging platforms - just re-write the main article a little as I told before -;do-follow inteligent comments on related blogs; forum signatures; etc ) to EVERY asset I already have ( including Digg and Propeller posts, for example ). You'll most likely see some kind of boost whenever you do this.

Look for what's ALREADY in the top 20 on Google, Yahoo and MSN and try to get your links there. Usual targets: Tag pages - greatly overlooked - of web 2.0 or scraper sites you didn't know existed, blogs, forums, web 2.0 and article sites.

Places like Flickr, although many times links are no-follow, can be a good traffic source in themselves, are easy to use and their links DO count in my experience. Get an image from your manufacturer, affiliate program or whatever and submit with optimized description and a link back. You can submit the picture to Flickr groups, create your own groups, submit new feeds, etc

If you used Tubemogul, you can go back to the sites you submitted to and optimize your page/channel, leaving a link too where you can, of course.

Don't use the exact same keyword as anchor text EVERY time. Use also secondary keywords, although less frequently, of course. Don't overdo on-page optimization, either. Around 5% for main keyword and natural inclusion of secondary related KWs should be fine. If your pages have good backlinks and age, you can get away with more, but don't overdo it. If you do get sandboxed, a Digg usually gets you out of there ( this I learnt from another member here in BHW, can't remember who, sorry )

In Squidoo, Scribd, Bravenet kind of pages, try to include big LONG links in the first sentences of the page, and include your main action words in it. I could get CTRs on these of 60%+. If you're using certain general affiliate programs with medium-long term cookies, this tip is really very good. Trust me on this one. If you've time for it, use at least 3 different links on each page: put the first in the first paragraphs, the second in the final ones and the third everywhere else. This way you'll see where your visitors are clicking. I know there's some free tool to monitor this but never tried them.

Study your stats from places like Squidoo and Scribd, and optimize your strategy accordingly.

Ping and submit EVERYTHING you can. If you don't have a feed for sth., go to Feedmarklet, make your feed and submit that feed.

Interlink and structure your assets wisely.

2- Repeat all of the above targetting a second main Keyword for the niche ( pay special attention to buy/action KWs, particularly if you're not building a list on the subject ).

Interlink these assets with those you made before. That's one great advantage of using web 2.0 sites: every page you add already links with the others naturally in one way or another, and your profile keeps getting stronger. You can even "work" the web 2.0 sites, including your pages/documents in groups, commenting and linking back to your page, etc.

3- Once you've established yourself in a niche, well you know... Just go back once in a while, check your stats and do a little maintainance, add a link, ping/ submit, keep things fresh and move on if you were not interested enough to build a list for it.

Stay on top of trends and do promote upcoming popular products. Go from there to niches, instead of the other way round.

The best of luck to you and keep us posted with your progress !

Another great post, full of juicy information! Thank you very very much for all your support and guidance, really (:

I'm using tracking202 to know where does the traffic come from.

Those links that you told to promote in the beggining of your post, are the articles in ezine? Or my landing page? At this point I could direct the traffic to the landing page itself, right?

I'll gather all the information of your posts and establish a method, so I can speed up the process. I'll print the posts and get organized (:

No problem, mate.

When I wrote the bit about tracking with different affiliate links, I was referring to tracking the activity of your visitors once they're already on your page . It's not only important to know where they're coming from, but what attracts them most once they get there. Sometimes you'll see they tend to click on certain parts you haven't paid attention to; or see that they're being distracted by something else on the page you can get rid of, for instance.

Those long links I was referring to direct visitors to your landing/sales page. The main final action you'd like them to take.

Also, regarding on-page optimization, don't forget to bold your main KWs a few times. Put one near the begining and also near the end. Try to put your main KW at the begining of your title also - it seems to make some difference - and repeat it or include a secondary KW at the end. Just again don't overdo any of this.

The whole point of this is indeed to have a method. Also, you'll be finding out what works for you along the way. Me, I don't care much about writing or making slideshows If I know I'll get a result from them, and need to know right away if people click or if it's in fact a good product/niche to pay attention to. So, I begin with a Scribd document and a YT vid on buying/action oriented KWs . They're easy and quickly to make for me and get ranked high very quickly. I promote with the minimum web 2.0 stuff I told you about in my previous post, wait 24-72 hs and analyze. From then, I move on.

Each one of us should develop our own way of doing things IMO.

The best of luck to you
