What idiot buys a site without a revenue stream?

I have... sometimes it's a good idea to buy a web site that is in your niche and put ads and links on it to promote another of your web sites. It works out cheaper and has a better return than using Adwords etc.

Right, but I bet you did not pay a premium for it. I am assuming the OP is trying to get a premium price for something that is not.

I paid $250, so yes your right... not what OP is trying to do. But I saw it as a good opportunity to share some advice

It's an old chestnut that has been around a long time - it often makes money sure - but nearly always shafts the buyer!

Remember in life what comes around always goes around... especially if you are on the way down expect a kicking as someone like these buyers will be waiting to get you...

I agree. From what you (OP) describe it sounds good (in fact great) from the Seller's perspective but what value does the Buyers get other than numbers? Anyway, good luck!
