Planning on using Yahoo Answers for getting traffic to website.
Any tips on how to avoid getting banned by Yahoo.

Separate accounts with different IPs, and make sure when you answer/ask a question it doesn't sound obvious.

You could also invest in getting a couple of different level 2 accounts or you could outsource some of the work in the services section here.

Hope this helps

Get some best answers and post relative content.
For example, you are answering a weight loss question:
Tell 2 interesting points or tips to them and then give your link to find out more :D

For the banning, just try to play it safe. Use many accounts with many IPs. Don't overdo anything.

I use it it drive traffic to my site. Just make sure you add value to your answers and you'll be ok. Put some effort in and your links will stay. Be spammy and you will get banned. Simples..

I used Yahoo answers a while back to direct traffic to my movie site. Don't just flood Yahoo with links, but rather, have valuable input whenever you post something... Otherwise, multiple IP's and accounts help.

answer as natural as possible and include your links every 2 post. This will not get you banned unless you are answering using the same answer. I already did this with my yahoo answer account and its still not banned and I am getting some best answers.

No copy and past and no spamming ,
just write what you wanna know actually ,always try to produce authentic news and answer .

my friend said yah answers don't really work that well

Your friend is wrong. You can actually drive quite a bit traffic to your site, especially if you have a page/post that adds to the answer.

You can copy and paste, in fact I have the feeling they love it. Just don't duplicate your answers. I personally copy and paste from sites like wikipedia and ezinearticles. Sometimes I add the real link to the source, sometimes I don't add any link at all and sometimes I add my target links.

You need level 2 accounts to post links and you can get them very easily, no need to outsource anything. You can actually get them in less than 48 hours.

1. Answer 10 questions = 20 points
2. Do an advanced search = 10 bonus points.
3. Search for questions that are open with no answers and then sort by latest first. Questions close after 4 days, answer questions close to the closing time, you'll probably get the 'best answer'. To be sure, use one of your 'other' accounts with a different proxy and vote for your answer.

Boom, enough points for a level 2 account! You can even get them in less than 24 hours.

Repeat this process with proxies and you can get lots of level 2 accounts in no time at all.

Ask questions, answer questions with a different account (answer assault did all this for me, dunno if it still works, it was 9 months since I used it). Use proxies. Also, Yahoo uses cookies, so make sure that you use Ccleaner to wipe cookies after every login. Or if you're doing it manually, use private browsing.

Make it look legit.

Don't always leave a link, only leave a link for about 1 in every 4 answers.

I managed to get 100 hits per day in less than 1 month using this method. Very targeted traffic as well.

Nothing new here, this method has been posted 100s of times.

P.S. It's been a year since I've done this, but I think you can answer 20 questions per day. I forget now, but whatever, it works.
