Just got scammed on Alibaba.....

I am a chinese, I think there is no way to get your money back(that's one of the features of MU).The only thing you can learn from this story(also the most important thing) "Never use direct payment method to finish your first deal". No matter how small the deal is.
I have help many dealers to find good product resources, I'v been cheated many times either(from many different countries), most of these shits happened just because of my negligence and credulity. Now when I contact a fully new company, I will do many research, and most important only Paypal or escrow or something like that (in china I use alipay, a platform like escrow.)
BTW, if you want to do business with chinese, remember "Open your eyes, grab your money!" China has 1.3 billion people, it has great potential of consumptive power online or offline (you can see many many chinese in luxury stores all over the world),and also have lowest manpower.But due to the same reason,you have more chance to be cheated.
So just I said, you want to dig some gold in china (online or offline), "Open your eyes, grab your money!" otherwise you will lose everything before you get any gold.

Not Guang dong road. This road does not exist in Hong Kong. And Canton Road is a famous street is tst, Kowloon.

Now you're just being irrational. Western Union is a very legit place to send money, you just need to make sure you can trust your source. I don't want to turn the blame completely on you, but I've dealt with companies from alibaba a few dozen times and have had nothing, but success (and a couple hiccups along the way). There are some common issues you'll run into which I can talk about if anyone wants an alibaba guide, but you should know to place a small sample order to test out the products. And if the product was $200 each and you bought five of them, then you shouldn't have been in that market in the first place if that's a lot of money for you to invest as you're looking at an MOQ of 100 at least if you wanted to get a decent price (which would make your initial investment $20K. And if that's too much for you then you definitely shouldn't be investing in that market). This has actually inspired me a little to write up an alibaba guide as many people are misinformed about it. PM me if you want something like that as I'd rather not spend 8 hours writing it only for 4 people to read it.

Prior to getting my feet wet in IM, I toyed with the idea of sourcing products from Asia. But this does involve quite a bit of investigative work on your part, plus additional costs in flights/employing a trusted agent etc.
Even though the most savviest businessman can get ripped-off on Alibaba, I'd spend alot of time in wholesaler forums and pick up some golden nuggets there.
But saying that, it can work once you've got it sussed.
