To OP, I understand that you had some wrong interpretation of our country and didn't want to insult anybody. I would try to give you some idea on Indians charging for such work...(although I have left this work a year before)-

1 website development - $300 to $500
Full time designer - $700 to $1000 (for new designers)

That's actually a pretty competitive price. I would work for this price too ( but not the full time designer lol)..

I agree, its actually a pretty competitive price... and am also ready to work at this price.

I saw a television documentary, that many Indian people consider 35$ per month a good salary, I do not know anything about India, so I was expecting to pay them a little more and give someone a job, I do not want in any way to explore someone, but if in your Country 35$ is a good salary, 100$ shouldn't be that bad.

Of course 100$ is very low for European standards, but that's not the point here.

At any case, if what I said is not the reality, I'm sorry, but that was what I saw on the TV documentary about India, if you can give me a better insight on India, I appreciate it.

That documentary might be created on later 80's.

$5 ...not worth ...if you need quality work u need to get a guy with $20 per day. other wise there are people work in $1 as well be reasonable .

Quality comes with price. If you think you'll get a great developer for $5 per day, you're wrong. India is just a country. We are coders and think alike. We might come from different regions of the globe, but we all want to get rich (or die trying). If you want to export your projects, then please consider learning how a project is done. A CMS might take 2 days to complete, but a Lead Mgmt system can even take 2 months. Price of the project greatly varies according to the effort that we put into it. Please do not speculate that coding is easy. We need to learn it for at-least 5 years, to be able to do it within 5 days. ;-)

ohh forgot to mention... Please change the thread's title buddy... I am "An Indian" rather than being "A Indian"...
