Its not mine. However I think you all should take a look at what can be done and strive for more. You don't have to have 12 million dollars to be free but it certainly can be achieved. Hard work, confidence, commitment. This is also my current desktop background.

Oh snap this is my receipt, it probably slipped out of my pocket the other day.
Where did you find it ?

:D

The guy could have made greater impact had he written something readable. I had stress hard in order to get what he wrote. But, he did write something motivational.

Cheers :)

You cry when seeing a huge check?
Kid, you still have a lot to learn.

Sometimes you want something so bad, it fills your dreams, your days, your life, your free time and you soak up everything that relates to it and do your best to work hard. I take pride in tearing up when I see stuff like this, else I would have to reconsider my motivation.

I didn't really break into tears, but yes, I do agree that this is good.

You know what? I really want to emulate what this letter said but there's one aspect which I just can't do.

He says that you should quit your relationship. Well, I just can't do that. :) I can't let go of the woman I love.

I guess I have to prove him wrong and show him that I can earn millions too even with a girlfriend by my side. :)

Tht's like my bank balance... just with a few more 0 on the end :)

One day mine is gonna look like that for real, I understand what the note is saying 100% I fint it happens to me all the time! If I get distracted it ruins my motion of work. If the girlfriend comes over I don't get anything done but when I have a few days to my self my computer doesn't get turnt of. Dedication and self dicipline is what makes a balance like that!

The letter says "don't focus on relationships", not "get rid of your wife" !

What I understand from this part is more like "spend more time working and building your business rather than wasting time on futile things such as hanging out at your local pub and getting drunk with some casual friends".

Well this is how I understand it :)

Oh man, when I will see that transaction on my statement.

Personally i'd like to cry too when i read this. It makes me really sad to read how money takes over, to read the advice not to focus on relationships + the applause here on board. my personal goal, which I achived, has ever been just to make that money that i need for a nice living. I have to eat, i can go to cinema or for a dinner, have a nice rented flat so what do i need more on physicals? I give a fuck on those millions if i'd had to have to dissapoint my girlfriend and my son for that.

If you have not learned how to live without the 12 mil or whatever else trust and believe you will not know how to live with it..This is why the main people who commit suicide are rich or well off people...money is a bridge to support yourself not to build your self esteem

that would be awsome to look at your bank account and have millions

My favorite quote that hangs on a wall in my office over my monitors. I live by it.

Nothing in the world can take the place of Persistence. Talent will not; nothing is more common than unsuccessful men with talent. Genius will not; unrewarded genius is almost a proverb. Education will not; the world is full of educated derelicts. Persistence and determination alone are omnipotent. The slogan 'Press On' has solved and always will solve the problems of the human race.
Calvin Coolidge
30th president of US (1872 - 1933)
