Which Domain Appraisal Site is Most Accurate? I've checked a few and got appraisals ranging from $900, $2500, and $11,000. I don't know if the domain is worth selling or not and want an accurate but free appraisal.

No Revenue, just great keyword name :(

All the above replies are useless.

1. No appraisal is accurate. It is worth what somebody is willing to pay and that doesn't require traffic nor any revenue nor any website built on it.

2. For end user evaluations, estibot.com is usually the best. Though not always accurate.

3. Most paid and free appraisals grossly over evaluate by a factor of 10 or even 100.

4. Read some domaining wsos and head over to dnforum.

Agreed.

estibot is a joke. As much as most if not all the other appraisal sites. Don't waste your time looking for a "reliable" free appraisal, and don't spend any money paying for a "reliable" appraisal.

Take a look at previous sales on auction sites, see what names in similar niche or keyword have actually sold for. That might give you more of a direction.

This comes with experience, paying attention to aftermarket transactions data on a regular basis, having a lot of transactions on both sides of the table under your belt. Estibot though is a good starting point to get a feel in some cases.

Whatever you do NEVER pay for an appraisal. They're worthless and most are scams.

It's very subjective. I usually quote a Domain based on external factors too such as who is making the inquiry.

Feel free to PM me for my two cents on your properties valuation.

Read these words because gregstereo speaks the truth.

DO NOT ever spend any money for any domain appraisal. I once bought a domain appraisal software application and installed it on a site, appraised the site at some RIDICULOUS price and sold it just because of the fake computer generated appraisal. You can program appraisal software to spit any type of figure out that you desire. Here are some such applications. They can be bought all over the Internet.

I have not found an estimate site that comes close.

Most estimate my site at less than 3 days income. Some even estimate at less than one days income.

Does your domain generate revenue? If so, multiply revenue with 12. $100 x 12 for example = 1200$

exactly. sometimes if the domai ngenerates it just form rankign you can lower the number of months tho.
