So my first question after reading this article was "What percentage of Calalonians are in favor of independence?" and when I went searching for the answer to this question, the results were unclear.

What's that mean? Opportunity. You can help your country to gain independence, and make a little money in the process by establishing an authority site on this issue. It doesn't matter if you aren't an expert as the site is going to be viewed by people that know less about it than you do.

You could even set up a charitable fund "freecatalonianow.org" and solicit donations, and keep a reasonable percentage of them for your "overhead", lol.

In fact, as I think about this, you could use the independence issue to create a "gateway" site that feeds people interested in catalonia to other places like travel sites, and make some $$ for sending traffic that way also.

I never would use independence for make money man

We are 7,5 milion catalan people in Catalonia. 1,5 milion were in the manifestation. How many are we really? I don't know. For this reason we want to make a referendum. Obviously, we don't independence if most of us don't want it.

And guess what? There are a lot of spanish people who don't know that we make a referendum and try to avoid it. It's only a democratic consultation, but they don't want it.

Catalonia is a beautiful country, i have visited Barcelona many times, and i find it a very charming place. Its people are very welcoming . It will make a fine country by itself and would be as prosperous as the countries of Luxembourg or Liechtenstein. I am quite sure most people have heard of the team FC BARCELONA , well that is the team that represent Catalonia in the Spanish Liga... and considered by the FiFA as the number one team in the world.

So go Catalonia, be free and rule yourself by yourself.

I wanted to be catalan and spanish some years before.

And what I get? Spanish people insulting me, and telling me what language I have to talk and how I should be. With time I discovered that if I want to survive, the only way is say goodbye to Spain.

But I'm with you in one aspect, Artur Mas sucks.

Me too!! I always went to Andalucia and I always receive bad opinions about catalonians... but sometimes in Catalonia, when I speak Spanish I have been insulted and called "charnego"...believe me this is the most hurting insult I've received in my live...
Last week one boy insults me to wear a Spanish shirt (in fact weren't it was only a red shirt, with no political implications...)

But think one think, do you remember Carod Rovira? every time he opens the mouth all Spanish people aromatically hates catalonians and there the image we have sold in the rest of Spain that's why they hate us.

I won't defend the Spanish or Catalonian flag, but I see that we have great social problems and the politics has hide all them using their flags and that point concerns me a lot...

CIU after cut all the Catalonian right will win the elections again...that's the sad new for Catalonia...

We don't need be independents, we need good politicians! And today we don't have any of them!
