Hiring writers for a Google News Website

PMed the OP. I made my usual counter offer, that is to request upfront payment, bulk orders only, rewrites instead of originals, and reuse rights of the material (to compensate for taking a super low rate). Will the makers of lowball offers compromise on these terms, to balance the equation?

Thanks for responding and I have responded to your PM, but I wanted to update this thread for anyone else who comes along and may or may not be interested... Most likely not interested.

I found a guy on Odesk who writes for other News sites similar to mine. So much so that he's able to slightly change his articles on other sites and then post them to mine. So far, so good.

I'm no longer looking for a writer for News but I may post another listing at a higher rate for different types of articles once I crack the Google Panda update problem, and receive more revenue with Adsense again. So most of my time on these forums will be focused on that. If you have any suggestions on that, I'm all ears.

Thanks again for the responses and I appreciate all feedback, whether good or bad.

LMAO $1 articles on top news site? Are you serious?
Atleast offer pay scale with views or shares or something, $1 an article is just ridiculous, you should just reblog from other sources yourself and save your pennies

If you see my earlier posts, I've already admitted that my approach may not be best and I am already offering what you suggested.

If someone has guaranteed way of increasing Adsense revenue, I have no problem adjusting accordingly but ever since Google's update, my site is not getting revenue that it once did and I've stated this already. I can't afford to pay more at this time.

By all means, if you know of some guaranteed methods to increase my revenue, I'm all ears, lol. Simply PM me.

But there's no need to keep rehashing something when I've already addressed the shortcomings of this offer and also did offer bonuses to anyone with any other alternatives and methods for me to gain more revenue so that I am able to pay more.

When that day comes, I will revise my offer and post a new one.

But I do appreciate your feedback.
