Is there a proxy service you can recommend that will work well with InstaDominate?

Hey see below for candiceswan's recommendations

Yes, that's the one. You guys put that in there and that alone will save me and I am sure others a TON of time.

Thanks.

We hear ya - will work on this :)

Agreed it would be very time saving. So we can set up a whole day then just copy that day > week > month etc..

Always good to support one another and we'll be sure to keep all of you happy :) Watch out in the future for that upgrade!

I've tested several proxies services and IG mostly banned class C range. And I'd recommend to use dedi proxies than shared ones of course, because they're tend to get banned fast. In the end, my vote goes to buyproxies.org and unr3al's proxies. :D

Thanks for your help candice :)

I just thought of something. You know what would be a great addition to this? Just now I made an error uploading a pic to the wrong account, and it would be great if there can be an option on this bot to delete pics from an account. Because at the moment there is the option to change your profile information, which is great, love it, so if there would be an additional option for this bot to be able to log into the account, and delete files you think are not good for the account any more for whatever reason, or that you made an error uploading (my case).

Thoughts?

***Another great addition to this bot would either be automatically added, or a place to tick it on/off, to NOT scrape your account or like your own pics. How many times I scrape names and mine comes up there. Also, how many times did I do like runs only to see that I liked my OWN pics. :(

This bot is good, but has some kinks to iron out for sure.

Hey, great suggestions! We've added it to our suggestions list and if all is good, we will look to implement it in future upgrades! Keep those recommendations coming in though because that's how we can become the absolute best for you, our wonderful customers!

As for your error, when you right click the yellow, and choose Open the HTML, what appears in your browser?

Btw, if you can, email us at team at instadominate.com so that we can take a closer look at it!

Thanks!

i've been having some issues with instadominate lately and hopefully i can talk to support soon about it :)

i have some major suggestions that I think should be implemented in the next build please.

1. have the scheduler scrape from another source then web.stagram. reason being is that they are now banning IP's and quickly. If you scrape 100k users your IP will be banned for sure. The normal user scraper scrapes from instagram.com (?) so the same should probably be implemented for the scheduled scraper. I do like that you can just scrape randomly in the scheduler though.

2. ability to scrape more than 100k at once in the scheduler.

3. ability to unfollow more than 100 in the scheduler. i unfollow 100 with 0 delays no problem. i would like to see if i can push that. plus unfollowing right now takes days if not weeks to really unfollow all the people you just followed. their has got to be a quicker way.

4. ability to change the profile picture of accounts. we can change everything but the profile pic?

thanks guys

Okay, I'm freaking out. Can somebody sue me if I reposted their image onto IG? The original photographer found his pic on my feed and told me to take it down, which I did immediately and he said thanks after. That was 10 hours ago. I've even disabled my account as well with 6.5k followers... I'm so paranoid about this suing because of people's copyright over their images, what do I do??

Ha! I was just trying to figure out what the hell was going on with the scheduler scraper, and then you post this.... love BHW :) Anyway, I put it behind a VPN, and boom it's all good. Is it really using our naked i.p. to scrape? @rockong doesn't it make more sense to have the proxies we import do the scraping? IP gets blocked very quickly. Cheers.

Oh, that's a good one. I would LOVE to change the pic in my profile via this software. Get the bot to scrape Flickr or whatever like it does for finding pics to upload, and do it for the profile as well. Wow, would be really great.

At the moment I buy my accounts from someone who pre-loads profile pics, but if I can choose my own, that would be great.

First, you want to make sure it's really the owner of the pic, and not some competitor or someone playing a prank on you.

Second, just simply taking it down as you did once you confirm the owner is all you need to do. Nothing else more, IMO.

Yeah, I was wondering the same thing after doing scrape after scrape of various data. If I can attach a proxy for the scrape activity, even a rotating one from a txt file, then it would be really great.

seems like account creation function is absent. do you plan to make it, cause without it, bot is useless?

Have you even read any posts prior to the one you posted? It's been mentioned COUNTLESS times before by the maker of the bot. Take some damn time to look things over before you ask a question.

And after looking at when you joined BHW, one would think you already know this is what you should do.

I'm still worried, can I still be sued for something like copyright infringement? It's been one day and I haven't heard a thing from anyone via my email. Does this mean that I'm safe? Can th pursue legal action if they wanted just because I posted their picture onto my instagram?

Hey Jared - contacted you back about your issues. With communicate with you through there :)

Thanks for your suggestions - we actually already recorded some of those based from our last conversation together, but thanks again nonetheless!

I'll have to check with my developer, but I'm quite positive that it uses your proxies if you've imported it. If you're using a VPN, then you're 100% safe because you've completely masked your original IP for your whole computer, so all activities is via the new VPN IP.

And tis true, BHW is awesome!

Agreed - will look into this for everybody

Hey,

Think of it this way:

Look at Pinterest. The whole website is a copyright infringement! How many actual photos do you think are the owners of the pictures they post? At this day and age where pictures are posted via social media, how can anybody say that it is copyright infringement to put a photo up to share with their friends?

I mean, I'm not a lawyer, but I doubt they have much of a case. It's social media. It would have to be a real major jerk to sue you for that.

So in summary, I wouldn't worry edladue!

First, you want to make sure it's really the owner of the pic, and not some competitor or someone playing a prank on you.

Second, just simply taking it down as you did once you confirm the owner is all you need to do. Nothing else more, IMO.

Agreed.

See above. You'll be fine IMHO.

Please read through the thread to see why we don't have an account creator. It really isn't to your advantage or to the general Instagram marketing public as a whole.

@rockong.... Thanks for looking into the proxy matter. I'm pretty sure though that the bot is not using our proxies, or at least not rotating them when scraping via the scheduler. It is using the naked i.p. which is why it becomes blocked. I import over 100 validated private proxies into the bot. They cannot all possibly be blocked, but turning on the VPN, and hey scraper works, which in my books can only mean that the proxies were not being used to scrape with..... not in the scheduler anyway. Would love some feedback. Cheers!

@rockong.... Maybe this has been asked/addressed before, but loading 35,000 targets with 10 accounts crashes the scheduler. It just hands as non-responsive. Smaller target lists of around 5,000 -7,000 work fine, but this seems like a major limitation of running a large campaign with many accounts. Any feedback would be highly appreciated.

Also, is it possible to have the database follow functionality be integrated into mass follow on the single task interface. They don't seem to be tied in?

PS bot just crashed with 5,900 targets and 10 accounts..... is there some sort of issue here?

Indead, it does use your normal "naked" IP... I had my IP blocked by webstagram for about one day (had to submit a form to get it enabled again). All my accounts are backed by a proxy... so the scrapping does use our IP, which is not a good thing IMO.

You are not into the right business if this affects you. You are in a BH forum!

I sent numerous copyright infringement notices in the past, and most people just remove the content. If not, what can I do?

1. Contact a lawyer, get it to see the photo and prove him I'm the photographer so he can testimonial.

2. Contact IG so they give out your IP address or something like that to trace you... hire an expert to track you down. (10% chance of happening, they would just ban you or ask the photographer an official permission from a court to divulge your information - $$$ and time)

3. Sue you by mailpost. If you are from another country, he already have $10,000 invested in that shit, otherwise 3-5k.

4. Court, another 10-100k... seriously; NOBODY will do this except if they are a studio in Holywood and have 100 of their movies on your website.

So relax, nothing will happen. You could tell him to fuck off also :)

Even if windows says "Not responding" it's acctually loading stuff, so just give him time and don't force to close the app.

Next release gonna have the scraper all based on instagram.com itself no more crappy webstagram

I certainly hope switching the api will do the trick.

@rockong possible suggestion. I know its been said before, but any way to have either copy and paste functionality, or a repeat button, or save template as in the scheduler? Having to manually enter each operation for a day, yet alone days, or God forbid weeks ahead of time is absolutely cumbersome. Say you have the same 3 tasks for 10 different accounts with proxies, and you want them to run every hour of every day of every week for the next month, I think most users will agree with me that setting up such a task with the current functionality is not very helpful. Possible?
