Google +1s alive or dead?

I used to find a lots and lots of services offering +1s on fiverr but they are not there at the moment. I always had this question 'Do +1s help your SEO?' Even I used to provide few services of +1s on fiverr but I stopped it after the +1s started vanishing.

Are people still interested in ordering +1s? I would like to start my service again if people are interested.

There are a few people on Fiverr still. But I notice also that the number of +1s they're promising has come down significantly. But that doesn't make G+ dead. Come on, as long as Google continues to stay on top of the search engine table, it will continue to keep giving leases of life to G+ :) But when you launch your service, figure out a way by which you can deliver what you promise. Too many people have been failing on that front. My 2 cents.
 
You can always get your +1s super cheap on microworkers, if you don't like fiverr
 
The votes must be drip feeded and from old reputable accounts then they have value over your ranking
 
I use to sell Plus Ones. I quit for a couple of reasons. They didn't stick and I got lots of complaints. Seems Google can pick up on the fake Plus Ones pretty quick since they are usually sent from obviously fake Google Plus accounts. Also they served no real purpose other than making it look like you were more popular than you really are. Nothing wrong with that but 99% of my customers thought the more Plus Ones they bought the better they would do in the SERPS.
 
Plus ones don't help effectively as such yet. But it does act a pinch of credibility to your site just like facebook likes do. Having a bit social noise at your end helps.

Its not dead, neither is it effective. But it does help.
 
What are the basic steps that I should keep in my mind for providing this? As using exchange websites doesn't really work for +1s and if I will use fake accounts then it is really difficult to use just one IP per account and provide over 250 +1s for $5.

Thats really the million dollar question, isn't it? If that code is cracked, Fiverr and all the micro sites would be flooded with service providers :)
 
Google really detect fake accounts very fast and easy.

It helps a lot but you need real strong accounts ;) No future in business providing bulk G+ likes.
 
Google +1 have so many features to offer to marketers that interact with different google produ ..you can use email marketing and send your leads to google +1,go to google map and rank on 1st page of google by optimizing your rating and reviews ,they are mobile friendly interface,and youtube interface..and other so many reason why google plus shouldn't be neglected...

being said so yes goole +1 is important..just make sure that what you buy in fiverr is ligitimate or else your just wasting you 5$ to nothing...
