Alright, I've had a lot of people tell me to go to Elance, and sites similar like that to market my design, and development services. I never took much to that advice until tonight, because I thought the competition would be to strong, or I would be under-bid. Tonight I finally put together a quick, free portfolio on Elance (took me 20 minutes), browsed through the jobs until I found one that interested me, and then I wrote up an offer (took me another 20 minutes), then about 20 minutes later I got a message from the person that posted the job.

I'm currently discussing a monthly fee to manage his social networks and help him monetize his sites. So stop being lazy and take action, I was able to land a decent gig in about an hour, you can too.

Btw I'm 17 with no professional resume, or content on my profile besides a picture.

A monthly fee to post daily on his social networks, optimize his site for SEO, reach out to targeted advertisers and negotiate with them, and coordinate with the artists the play on the online radio.

I do a lot more then just that, but I don't have enough references, and work experience to bother putting together a resume.

Depends on the work involved. I was going to charge him $200 for 10 hours of maintenance and promotion a month, which is half of what I normally charge for freelance work.

I don't think their is anything I would do for $4 and have it be profitable, I'd rather work with at least 3 digit clients.
