Becoming a Pinterest Authority

Excellent work on this thread. Coming from a pretty extensive Pinterest testing background, even I'm interested. You're holding us in suspense man! Haha. Also, glad to see PinPioneer is helping you with your followers/content etc.

Bought a domain and hosting today. Will setup it up tomorrow :)

Great post, how will you know when you become or have authority?

Well you inspired me a bit. I was focused on Instagram (doing good over there btw) but now im looking so expand into Pinteres, Tumblr, Twitter (i lost my motivation after i purchased tweetattacks and it went down not long after, need to find another tool like it).

Bought Pinpioneer just after reading your thread :D

Now couple things im lost on:
1) When you repin, do you use descriptions? I noticed this can get complicated fast. Since its 100 images getting repined descriptions look the same. Figured it would be best to leave blank for now untill i have time to set up a long list of spinnable comments.

2) What exactly is the whole getting invited to boards about? People give you "admin" privileges? And you can post anthing to the boards? Also do you post by hand to those boards or you can use pin pioneer on those boards? Can you invite people that follow those boards to yours? or only your followers?

1: I currently just added "Like, Repin, Share" every now and then when repinning images. Will soon be changing it up as i bought my domain and hosting yesterday, once that's setup ill begin advertising my site.
2: By inviting people to your boards you are giving them permission to post images, if you get a lot of active people then the board will continue grow as the people you invite can then invite their friends. You can post the images by hand if you like or you can use PinPioneer. I think you can only invite your followers.

1,000 Followers! Not a huge amount but its a start :) Didn't get a chance to work on setting up the website today and probably won't do until the weekend.

How are you going to monetize the site?

Why do people always ask the same question on every thread? It's always THE SAME ANSWER!

There are two types of monetization:

Selling your own ish (ebook, course, ppc, ads, memberships etc)
or
Selling someones ish(someones ebook, course, ppc, ads, memberships etc)

S-I-M-P-L-E

If you want the whole recipe (which the OP has stated he doesn't know yet, multiple times.) at least take him out for a drink first.

Do you understand how easier it would be to understand forums like this without questions like yours?

Well, how is it going? Have you started promoting your website? Is it getting some good traffic?
I want to know so I can start getting in to pinterest.

Been a very very busy few days for me, have no had time to update the thread or progress on my Pinterest account but it seems to be growing without me which is great.

Quality Over Quantity.
I post good quality content, no reason for me to be banned.

i understand, but in order to get a SERIOUS amount of traffic to your site you really need to pin a large quantity, that goes for quality content and low quality content, 2 aspects of the same thing.
what do you define as quality content?
when someone clicks on your "quality" pin and land on your site, are they going to actually find what they are looking for?
i see that you might not be doing this yet, but how do you plan to get traffic and monetize? thats what matters most.
being banned is always a possibility for everyone because you don't own pinterest, someone else is in control :)
just trying to give advice because i have been there and done that :)

Nice thread you have going on here, subscribing. Been thinking about getting into Pinterest my self lately ;)

What content are you using for your blog? Are you posting only pictures in the posts or adding text as well? If you're adding text/articles, are they PLR/spun/unique?

Looking at you, Pinterest is one of the medias I'll be using for one of my current projects.

I have been creeping on this thread. Any new updates? I am very curious.
Don't worry mate ill get back to updating daily, just extremely busy right now.
Currently nothing has changed since my last update in terms of boards, images, following etc.. People are continuely following me meaning my account is growing daily. Currently have just over 1400 Followers.
