Becoming a Pinterest Authority

Dude, look at the post directly above your's to see his most likely response.

Hmm. Was interesting. But if you can't automate, then it's a long grind. ;)

Pinterest, however, has simply slowed down its rate of return. It's definitely not dead. I am running between $50 - $100 / day using just two Pinterest accounts, a WordPress blog and Adsense (with counter clickbombing plugins). It's definitely not where it used to be, in terms of the 'ease' of gaining followers, BUT... I am not even convinced that gaining a LOT of followers even HELPS that much anymore. It's more about making sure that you have regular pins and repins each day within the primetime windows (2-4pm Eastern AND 8-12midnight Eastern) +/ 3 hours to cover USA, and casually posting to group boards. Neither of my accounts has any more than 200 followers, but each one drives over 1200 views per day to my blogs. Starting to (anecdotally) feel like having a lot of followers might just be overkill (or even useless)... especially if they're fake followers that just fall off the map of are ghost accounts...

Thanks for tips. I have a question hopefully you can answer. When you are driving pinterest users to your blog, are you driving them to the main site or to that particular post? And if you are driving them to the post, do you have that product/picture or some other random picture?

I am just afraid of copyright issues.

Thanks.
