Most people take life too seriously. It's fun to have a heated debate and even throw a few personal remarks, but at the end of the day I'm not going to hold a grudge.. I still disagree with you of course, but whether people agree on stuff isn't really all that important.

I've been incorporated as a S-Corp, as defined by the IRS, for over a decade. Does this make me an authority on antitrust laws? Absolutely not. However, it does give me practical experience complying with corporate governing, filing and other legal requirements in the USA.

And to be honest, my SEO problems are rather limited. I own multiple properties which are <10k Alexa that would do just fine without Google. I have frontline sites that were hit hard, but those are used for testing and monetized as well. The loss of a couple thousand a month or so is negligible. However, new businesses coming up will find the environment is severely tilted against them thanks to many different factors, including Google's stranglehold on ecommerce.

I don't. I even gave him +8 rep after he repeatedly called me a fool and a liar. It's just fun and games. Anyone who gets butt hurt over what someone says on a forum and holds a grudge has issues with themselves.

Imagine you're a millionaire and someone keeps saying you're poor. Would you care? Not in the slightest.

So when someone calls you a liar, a fool etc, unless you believe that you are those things, they don't really bother you, which is why I don't care what anyone calls me.

Plus, in the heat of the moment people say things.. It's like sometimes when people are playing sport against each other, they'll get pissed and call their friend names, but a the end of the game no one cares.

I took issue with a lot of what you were saying because a lot of people had been harmed by Google and yes, it's true that they were stupid to put their entire trust in a search algorithm, but their decision was naive; it didn't merit destruction of entire businesses, as has happened in so many cases across the world. I've said many times that nobody, except, ironically, someone with a "tin-foil hat", as you put it, could have predicted the severity of the Penguin update (and subsequent regular refreshes) - many people (yes, albeit naively) trusted Google's rankings to be at least reasonably stable. However recently they have been all over the place, with regular gloating from Matt Cutts. I would love it if Google stood by their motto "don't be evil" and actually stood up for and helped small businesses instead of indiscriminately ruining them, but this is not what is happening. Google has little to no regard about anyone's welfare but its own, and has little to no regard for users' private data, the data they collect is simply another tool to make more money down the line. Yes, it is a business and business is business; that's your argument. This is true. But I also have a heart and I feel a lot for people who have lost a lot because of what Google does. I just hope they can learn from their mistakes and not rely on such a fickle mistress as the Google search algorithm in the future.

I read so many of these articles and threads and they all make me laugh. Do people really think there will be no more Google in 5 years? They've got enough money to survive the next 1000 years! OK, they might not be around in their current format, or even have to change their business practices (either by themselves or be forced to by the EC or something) but Google will be around for at least the rest of our lives! They are now such a diverse company with many different products/services that they will always be around.
