Is this a penguin hit or what? Help me find out :)

The SEO field is FILLED with scammers. My advice; trust no one. Before you hire anything out seriously, test if you can and then hire, though in saying that, they could then turn-around and scam you again.

Not to be a downer, but the field of SEO is not for the soft-skinned, be prepared to be burned.

How can I tell someone what to do when I don't know how to do it myself? "Hey, can you do some SEO for me? I don't know anything about it but I'm going to outsource it and hope you can do a great job for me!"

I know this might work for other sectors, but in SEO field where there are tons of scammers and wannabies, it's like driving drunk with a blindfold on.

It isn't being ignorant, it is being rational.

I just hate it when people like you start interfering with threads were someone asks help.. is it that hard for you to keep yourself from posting if you don't have anything to contribute useful for the person in need of help??

It is indeed a fact that there are a lot of scammers in SEO but there are also genuine people with good services. I ask you, how do you find these people? Very simple, by testing out different services.. Chances are you will bump your head against the wall with an seo "scammer or wannabie" that does something entirely different than he promised but does that make it my fault? NO, it does not! Same as it is not your fault when you buy a blue car but you get a green one instead

Forgot to mention; I'm currently in the progress of setting up my own SEO system where I don't need to rely on anybody else other than me.

There are scammers in any business.

Whenever your dealing business to business it's good to know a bit about what is being offered but somewhere along the line you have to let go and let other people ply their trade. If they don't perforn you go elsewhere. It's pointless agueing this wiith you though if you can't see the forest from the tree's.

Yep. Anyone who really does SEO isn't going to do it for you. Therefore you are going to get people who can make money while risking other people's money. You can try and make yourself feel better but SEO is very risky business at the moment and if you have no idea what you are doing (which it seems that you don't) you are going to have a really hard time.

Keep trying to convince yourself that you will find an SEOer who will do the work for you that you require.

it looks like your site was hit by emd.. try 301 the domain for a couple of weeks to another domain.. you will notice traffic picks up again. it is early for my experiment, but I have an emd, doing a 301... and after the emd my traffic shrunk to 15%.. now have 301 in place for a week, and traffic is at 60% of what it used to be.. in 2 weeks I will remove this and see.. whet happens
