Hi,

I've just made a food blog and am looking for different ways to monitize it.

I have plenty of content for it. So that's not an issue. The content is mainly pictures and recipes if that helps any?

If anyone has experimented in this niche before with success, please throw some ideas my way!

Cheers!

Think as a visitor... When you're on a cooking blog, you obviously want to cook. So look for products as cooking tools, books etc. If you can find an offer that is subscription based that would be nice, monthly cooking classes or something in that direction.

Kitchen gadgets through Amazon.

I dunno about you but I love me some gadgets. Ice cream makers, water purifiers, retro food mixers, that kind of shit.

I have a food-blog myself, hoping to get some good ideas here. I have Adsense on my blog now, but that doesn't convert that well.. Kitchen gadgets seems like a good idea!

Kitchen ware works the best. Also recipe ebooks. Try getting it from Amazon or Clickbank. :)
Goodluck with that!

Food blogs are notoriously difficult to monetize.

For those advising Amazon, I'm not too sure about that, since the Kindle platform is exceedingly tough to break into for cookbooks.

eBooks and tools are indeed very good.

Another one for OP: content lock recipes/articles. It doesn't get any easier and you'll get 100% guaranteed results within a few hours of locking.

Hey guys,

Thanks for the awesome response. I plan on setting up a few banners directed to kitchenware. Also I'm going to link recipes away to another site which is locked. I'll see how that goes! I didn't realise that food was such a hard niche to break though!

Again, thanks for all the info, much appriciated!
