I was referred to black hat world by a friend of a friend, a website that offered valuable information on ppcs and what not. I was a little hesitant because i have no experience in IT related stuff but according to my friend's friend i did not need in depth knowledge about IT for me to be able to utilize this website. After a week or so of reading various threads i realized that the latter was wrong and that i needed some sort of foundation in IT for me to understand the jargon and apply the tactics that other members are talking about. What should I do before reading through this forum? Im a noob, IT is such a broad study and i dont have time to master everything considering that i have a dayjob.. What should i focus on in regards to using this forum.. i need a little help please..

Not sure what "IT" you need here. 99% of what people talk about here can just be google'd and soon you'll understand all of it.

Its more about online marketing than IT. Read up about search engine optimization for about 20 minutes and already things should be clearer here.

IT and marketing on the web is a completely different thing altogether man. Read around the forum, if you dont understand then either ask for help here or just google it.

You should focus on reading as many threads as possible.

Anyone can do this, you just need the knowledge like anything else.

And be persistent and never give up.

JV with your friend's friend or do as I do outsource the boring technical stuff ( web design , programming , etc....) and focus only on marketing .

Dont worry about that, just read as much as you can, use google to find things you dont understand and it will all start to make sense to you after some time.

First of all , you need to read about seo at least couple of hours , this will help you understand a little bit of this game, then buy a domain , buy a hosting , read about how to install the wordpress platform and then start to make your first articles , or maybe you can buy some articles , make sure the articles are really good quality and important for your niche (for your visitors) and the final step is link building , start make backlinks. This is just some simple steps , each step require knowledge , you need to learn as much as possible about this SEO game, I hope this create you an idea about this "world" of SEO.
