Some old coin, apparently worth something

Search the web for coin dealers, look under Numismatics, these people are experts and this is not the place to ask for advise. You could also get in touch with a big auction house that is probably the best place to sell it. People attending these auctions will bid it up until whom ever really wants it gets it!

Contrary to what some people here believe, I didn't come for advice ; I came to seek someone who would sell it for me and share whatever earnings we make. I'm really not interested in the coin's history, significance and technical specifications. I just want to make some money to prepare for the winter, that's all. No reason to complicate things that much.

i have a coin collection..
i can get it appraised and sold but not remotely

Unless it is graded it won't sell on eBay. They only allow 4 approved grading services: PCGS, NGC, ANACS and ICG. Most of them accept FedEx from anywhere in the world. If you don't want to have it graded you will have to sell it locally.

Darn! That sounds so good. The coin looks pretty good, all details are fairly visible. Still if I could get 1000 or 2000 I would be more than happy.

BHW isn't allowing me to post links and I wouldn't want to be banned, so I guess that's not an option.

Edges seem to be worn off and eroded heavily but there are dent marks, seems to me like something was written on them. Can't make out what though.

Seems legit

Anyone can post an pic. Go to tinypic, upload image and paste the code. Simples :)

If I've learned anything from tv shows related to antiques, it is this: whatever you do, do NOT try to clean it...leave it as is. Simple (unsolicited) advice, I know, but I thought it might be worth sharing just in case someone here plans to sell it for you.

Find a Antique Road Show near you!! :D LOL. JKJK. You have to get it graded to sell it on eGay just like BreakAllTheClocks said.
