Matthew, great videos. I watched them all. I have some comments and questions:
1) I've been using Magic Submitter. I know you say you're going to test it out. I hope you do soon and then you'll let us know how you think it compares to UD.
2) Your videos aren't that clear - do you have better resolution videos?
3) I got to know Kontent Machines and Linkwheel Bandits. I'm thinking of getting both, actually more of the former because LB is quite expensive and it doesn't seem to have a lot of users or a community that keeps great products going. Some questions:
a) Do you think Kontent Machines output is too spammy? I guess that's why you use it for tier 2s onwards. What settings do you use to make it as least spammy as possible? Some people have said it doesn't read well and I also saw the video they have and it didn't read that well. I'm going to get the trial to see how it goes
b) Does it do its own spinning or you have to link to an API? I'm going to get Spin Rewriter. I thought the most readable (least unique) spinning option is pretty readable.
c) I've tried to find info about Linkwheel Bandit and there really isn't much around the Net. I'm wondering how good a program it is.
Why would you use Linkwheel Bandit as opposed to just using UD since UD I believe builds Web 2.0s too. I'm assuming that LB, as it specializes in creating blogs, would be better. But I'm wondering exactly what makes it better and does it justify the really high monthly price?? If only I could find out more info on it!
Thanks,
Hi,
Thanks for taking the time to watch them.
1) I'm going to do a dedicated magic submitter case study in the coming weeks with live results as I go
2) Watch them on YouTube in full 1080P
3) LWB is a fantastic automation tool - not that well known but very good and version 2 is due shortly
3a) Heres an example output http://pastebin.com/qfSEF1Gq - It all depends on the settings you use - I use TBS spinning with the best synonyms and 4 word replacements with paragraph mixing on tier 2, then the good dictionary with 5 synonyms and sentence mixing tier 3 and throw in some character spinning as well - never have a problem getting any of it indexed though.
3b) It has its own spinning yes but I use TBS API personally
3c) Download the free trial - you'll see how good it is!
With LWB I can tell it to build huge web 2.0 link pyramids (10 web 2.0s with 10 posts tier 1, each of those has 10 web 2.0s with 15 posts pointing to them, and each of those has 10 web 2.0s with 20 posts pointing at them) - takes about 5 minutes to setup then forget about it.
Just setup a campaign with the free trial and watch it run - you'll soon see why its good - prepare your content first though so you get the most out of the trial. Use Kontent Machine to generate articles where the title is the first line and the rest is the article body, include images/videos as well.
@Matthew
I just created my original article for my money site now I just need to create original content for my tier 1 accounts. I do have a question about SB.
Once you scrape your list are you running your list through any of SB addons? If so what are you using to determine what you should keep?
No I'm not - I do a huge scrape, import into Ultimate Demon and let that decide which it can/cant add.
I think (on a monthly basis) export all of the sites from UD, run a domain level index check and then use the mass deletion tool in UD to remove all deindexed sites - no point building links from sites that have been deindexed right
Great tutorial and thanks.
Ok, I'll fire away with my questions:
1 - This seems like it might harm a brand new site, even though it's spread out over 14 days and uses well spun content, random pics and embeds, etc. Having several hundreds of links to a brand new sites seems like it might be a bit risky. Do you use this on new sites?
2 - UD looked awesome until I realized in one of the videos what I had suspected - that it's made by the makers of bookmarking demon. I HATE bookmarking demon, bought it a while ago and never use it due to it taking way to much time, resources, capchas, having to prepare lists (unlike scrapebox which does it all on the fly), failed rates, etc.
So, do you find that UD is much smarter, faster and more efficient then BMD?
HI Cindy,
1) Yes I use it on new sites without a problem - as a general rule of thumb as long as you maintain the velocity you start with your usually good to go. In the first 14 days only 200-300 hundered links are built, in the next 14 days all the tiers are setup and then you build a new set of tier 1 links after that - so all in all your only building 200-300 links a month to the site.
2) Haha funny you should bring that point up - as a BMD owner I also hated it with a passion, I'm talking about the version that had the mainly black user interface (not like it is now) and had similiar frustrations to you. When they released UD they also moved BMD over to the new UD framework but with all other modules disabled which made the tool an awful lot better - if you still hav BMD update it and you'll see what I mean.
Yes UD is a lot better than the previous version of BMD (old stlye black UI) but update BMD and try the new UD framework for the bookmark module yourself.
bookmarked wil be watching later
Thanks
Man this is what i'm looking for, i'm kinda new and still wondering about link building and multi-tiered link building, feel so great to found this, thanks Matthew! But i still don't know what is link wheel anyway? maybe you can help me out![]()
Hi,
Thanks for your kind words.
What I'm building here is a link pyramid as opposed to a link wheel - even though I use some software called Link Wheel Bandit, that actually builds link pyramids which you can see in the video 1 diagram.
Looks promising. Thanks for this great share.
Thanks let me know if you have any questions
I would also like to point out to everyone who has not paid particular attention to the way this material is presented on his website. His site is a masterful piece of Internet Marketing. The information and tutorials are top notch (quality could be higher..), and his site has affiliate links used in such a way that they earn him money, but at the same time help the readers, his use of social content locker is just right without forcing the viewers hand, it really is a well done IM site.
A great deal of thought and I daresay work went into this site, and from an IM standpoint, it should be required viewing for newbies.
Mathew, thanks, rep, and a tip of the old noggin warmer to you...
Thanks man
I dont really agree that this is a masterful piece of internet marketing though.
There used to be some great SEO blogs out there a few years back providing really solid actionable advice based on peoples personal experience and testing. Over the past years they have all died out and now all we have is the same old generic advice post after post - very rarely do you find a post/video about SEO that offers any real meat and gets into the nitty gritty.
On top of that when browsing a lot of forums it was alarming to see the type of advice that other people give out. It resulted in repeated /facepalming and /headdesking - Everyone just seems to jump on the same bandwagon without trying things for themselves, a good example of this is blog networks are dead or my personal favourite at the moment - the guest posting bandwagon.
I also realised that with my 10+ years experience of the game, I wasn't really leveraging my knowledge & skill set properly. All I'm teaching others is what I do on a daily basis, so turning that into a video tutorial seemed logical.
So all of that combined led to the inspiration and creation of my blog and tutorials. I wanted to create a useful blog about SEO based on my own personal hands on experience and testing for others to learn from instead of just reading the generic advice dished out on most big SEO blogs.
