You aint going to like this. After this update, I have been running tests over night to see if the pr-? problem has been resolved, which some people have been hit badly with, including myself. After trying things like dedicated proxies instead of shared, complete reinstall of the software etc to rule out fat finger and muppet keyboard entry. Sven has made some changes to how it checks pr to help those affected and asked if I was back to full flow on submissions.

12 hrs testing with the latest released version

16,000 submitted 1600 verified. A ratio of about 1 in 10

Thats on nothing more than a home computer and a 6 meg internet connection running 50 threads
Captcha Sniper X and no other decaptcha service used

No paid captcha service. That's some pretty impressive numbers. What is your thread count set at?

Glad Sven hammered down the PR? issue. I was one of those people who didn't really have this issue, but then again I have a lot of private proxies and only ran on 50 threads.

Captcha Sniper X and its integration with gsa is brilliant with its new solve rate. Average captcha solving time is 0.6 seconds.
Compare that to how long it takes for some paid services and it a big chunk of time saved on each submission.
The trick in the early days of running it is to save all unknown captchas
Run gsa and csx for an hour. Stop gsa, then go to the unknown captcha folder and see what you can add
Delete all the captchas in the folder and start again
You will soon build up a set of extra captchas aimed at the engines your hitting
Any % is better than no % on extra captchas. Some are easily added, others you wont do

Also be sure to name the captcha type exactly the same name as the GSA engine (platform) name. Great job Lee! This is exactly how it is supposed to be done. Now share your captcha database with others

To add extra captchas. Go to the folder, go to the image and copy the image name. I normally hit rename, then copy the name. Ie plig, mediawiki etc
Back into the destruction kit, paste the name into the captcha type and import the images to try and crack

As for the last part of Mikeys suggestion, I will share them the next time hell freezes over

I just asked Sven for Article Builder to be integrated. Jonathan at Article Builder just added the ability to buy more api units. So it isnt stuck at 400 per day now. Which means it can put out LOTS of great quality content, instead of the auto spun stuff.

This would be a huge benefit.

Once you've saved all the unknown captcha's how do you find out which platform they belong to?

I do own CS but rarely use it as I find the success rate to be low. Granted, I probably don't use it to its full potential (using the destruction kit and all that), so I usually just use DeCaptcha as my main then Deathbycaptcha second. But when CS is running and I want to use decaptcha as my second source won't my hosts file prevent the captcha being sent to decaptcha's servers? Resulting in an infinite loop of nothingness. As when I test my decaptcha balance that's the result I get.

Is it the case that when or if CS fails to crack the captcha it sends it off to decaptcha's servers anyway?

Any insight would be great.

You could add Mailinator and other temporary email providers support.

Mailinator allows POP3 access. GSA could generate a random username and password, and that's it. No need to manually enter email account details anymore.

pop server:	pop.mailinator.com
port:	110
username	Anything you want!
password	8 character random password. It can be anything but must be present.
encryption	off

So GSA should only generate the random username and password, and that's it.

Additional temporary email providers:
BSpamFree
dispostable
mailcatch
tempinbox

Even if the service doesnt support POP3, GSA could use the web interface in this case. Also some providers have multiple domain names, make use of them, dont just use one domain.

The only bits I have ticked with csx is use "captcha_platorm" under settings, plus save unknown captchas
Im not using paid services now, only for web 2 creation
But I checked my balance and that still worked with the above settings.

So far since midnight, its now 21:20 here I have done 27,500 submissions and 3250 confirmed with no other decaptcha service other than csx

In the past versions of Captcha Sniper, you took at guess at what sized captchas to set and hoped they would be the ones used by the platforms you was posting to.
Sven was one of the first software developers to use the Captcha Detection in Captcha Sniper X
The big difference is the way it selects the captchas to use.
GSA tells Captcha Sniper X the captcha type. In theory you could have 1000 captchas the same size, but as long as they are named different, GSA could use them or 1000 captcha types with the same name, but with different sizes
Its this ability that boosts the amount of captchas that get solved now
Today alone, if I had been blasting away with a paid decaptcha service, I would have been looking at about 40k captchas
Its cost me nothing in paid decaptcha services
In three days, the money saved, would buy a copy of GSA
In five days, the money saved would buy a copy of GSA and Captcha Sniper X
In six days, its GSA, Captcha Sniper X and some private proxies

Arent most of the domains used by mailinator and all of these others banned? They are blacklisted as spam for a lot of platforms IIRC.

Negative filter doesn't seem to work. I have these settings:

!.edu
!.gov

I then imported my scraped list of over 11,000 and not one submission. I removed my negative filters, deleted my target url and cache and tried again. This time, the submission to sites using my list was successful.

Isn't '!' the negative filter or was this recently changed?

That isn't my setup. I was just showing you how to set it up because you asked. I use Shani primary and DBC secondary. I'm not sure how the host file redirect and all that works.

Thanks s4ntos, appreciate that. Maybe I'm not fully understanding how CS works, but for me whenever I turn on CS it takes over my hosts file and stops decaptcher from sending the captchas back to its main server. It kinda takes over. I don't know, maybe I've bought a dodgy version of CS, but for me allowing de-captcha as my main captcha service redirects any outgoing queries to CS, which often fails. Anyway, no hassle, I'm good. I honestly don't mind spending my money on captchas when gsa does what it does for my sites!!
