First of all, UFOs don't exist.....they only exist in the US and I have never heard of UFO sightings outside US. That being said, I believe they're invented to disguise and conceal top secret projects run by the government from curious members of the public. Just Google and you will find out more....

There are 1000s of confirmed UFO sightings outside the US. The countries of France, Britain, Mexico, Brazil, Russia, China, Japan, Australia have all released their UFO files to the public b/c they know their people are aware it exists. Only the USA has not released theirs b/c they think since we cannot defend our airspace that people will panic, not pay taxes, mass riots, etc.

Dude, I'm tellin' ya'. the history channel on Youtube & search for ancient aliens full episodes. You'll be amazed at some $**t you will learn. You can just not believe or analyze the reports from military officials, commercial airline pilots, police officers from the USA and foreign officials as well. And here's the kicker, check this &*^% out, Canada & Norway military had encounters with underwater submerged objects. It is said that we know more about the moons surface than we do of our own ocean floors.

NOTE: The thread is about traveling through time though. UFO are unidentified flying objects. There are plenty of those about 90% are explainable from their reports, 10% are, well, who knows. The US probably has some incredible technology from 50 yrs ago whic could be some UFOs.
And yes, I have not drank and didn't do drugs.

My post about Time Travel and Stephen Hawkings was my way of saying its probably not possible. But what do I know? Anything I say will sound n00bish but its just a humble persons opinion.

About the other website I said was fascinating, yeah I was actually quite serious unfortunately. I love reading about these things and then went on to have an all nighter discussion about all things of this nature with my partner. Its not to say I believe these things but its fascinating to see how this man has documented so many outlandish claims and one has to wonder if this is for attention, if the man is bonkers or if any thing he says has any merit.

I don't know the laws of physics, it wasn't something I studied in school. I have a very basic knowledge. But it does interest me. So whenever there is a new article about it in the papers or if I come accross something relevent on Wiki I will pretty much sit there and take everything I can in in one night.

Maybe my posts have made me look like a dumbass but I don't claim to believe in these things. And yes " believe " is the wrong word, as we're talking about REAL physics here. But sometimes I word things wrongly. The question I originally meant to get accross was:

Problem with Time traveler and changing the past theory is that. Life is connected and even one small change can make a difference. For example saving one soldier could change life of many people.

Here's for example, if soldier gets killed and his wife marries to some another person and has kids over time. And if one of the kids changes something related to the city or town or say country, if not that kid but somebody from his bloodline like say grandson etc. Then saving that soldier is like breaking the chain of events. So the future is changed and like this many events changed. People are getting married more randomly than they used to be in past. So saving one person could cost many lives lol. Just a theory from me but still...

IMO, time is more like unidirectional river, if you change the direction from particular point then you're basically in alternate part of the timeline which gets diverted from the time river. lol. So it basically doesn't change the time from where you came from but it changes time from where you made modification. It's like branching in river.

Time travel, alternate universe are fun theories but unfortunately just theories for sure.

Problem with tourists visiting the past is that they are not part of the past so they are less likely to be visible. It's like watching 3D movies and not able to change the part of past but able to see it clearly. I still don't get the part where tourists are supposed to be visible to people in past. I mean grandson visiting grandfather in his 20s, I doubt if it is possible to see them. However, they have to use some common medium for communication, like say radio then I guess possible to view or communicate from same time period. Lots of holes to this theory lol.

Yes. Plenty of theories about it. But the post where you quoted is where I explained about alternate universe which is made because of change in the past timeline. So it's like tangent universe made purely because of the changes in the past. It's not parallel universe but more of tangent alternate universe.

Seen old movie - donnie darko? The movie was shot in between the alternate universe which was made purely because of the shift in past.

Movie called "source code" was also the one which hints alternate universe which gets created because lead character changes past.

I doubt we can speak seriously about time travel before we have answers to more basic questions:

- Why physical and mathematical constants, such as PI and speed of light, are the way they are?
- Is universe continuous or discrete? And are quarks are the smallest level of stable energy formation (e.q particle)?
- Are the 4 forces of nature stem from the same phenomenon?
- What is time?
- Is universe finite?
- etc

By the way, i remember there was a piece of news on pretty much all TV stations here about an appearance at the protests in Egypt. It was in their interpretation (I didnt made anything out of it) a guy on a horse looking like a diffuse green fog. They even said "some say it is one of the four horsemen of the apocalypse". This was on all TV news channels. Talk about feeding crap to masses and making them paranoiac. It could have been a lens flare, it could have been smoke illuminated by a lamp and carried by the air current, it could have been a fking toxic fart of an Egyptian dude who had chili. The horseman of the apocalypse? Give me a fking break. News is supposed to be objective information, researched and confirmed not hocus-pocus crap. If on all TV stations at the 5pm news they show you that crap, you want to believe videos on youtube posted by a random guy? Now don't get me wrong, I believe some conspiracy theories to be possible, probable or the contrary be just disinformation on purpose or by paranoiac naive people. I believe by default that powerful people want to stay powerful and see the rest of the people as cannon flesh and inferior, I believe that rich people want to get richer and are ok abusing masses. There's logic and naturalness behind all that. Believing every conspiracy theory and every rumor however will simply make you paranoiac and loose your balance and anchor in reality.

I believe aliens exist BUT i highly doubt they have come to earth. I once heard physics genius talk about alien life and it made so much sense. Our existence as humans has been around for thousands of years. We can barely make a rocket to take us to the moon and back. Our technology is so neanderthalish. We shoot weapons with pieces of flying metal. Our electricity/energy is difficult to create. Our resources are from dead materials, oil, wood,etc. We have yet to explore the deepest trenches under water. We can't even get to the other side of the planet quickly(it still takes several hours..lol). Now imagine a planet somewhere out there with some form of alien but with millions upon millions of years into their existence. They obviously would be more advanced than us. They may travel from galaxy to galaxy easily. They probably have learned to harness the energy of the stars. They may even be able to engineer their own universes and instantly grow watever they need. But yet we shoot our analog signals into space hoping to make contact with some thing. What if the wrong thing is contacted? Imagine an alien life just one level above ours, that still rely on the power of stars? what if they take away our sun because we are not worthy in their eyes? what if they stomp us out like how we stomp out small ants on the ground? Survival of the fittest. We would all be dead in a flash. Just something to think about.
