Youtube blocking video in Egypt and Libya - What do you think?

Yes it is, for the good of society, look whats happened just because people have heard of this film, imagine what will happen if people see it, the content described in the post by Bloomberg really does just suggest the film was a hate video, and its main aim was to become a trigger, although killing innocent people wasnt right and isnt accepted in any religion.
 
When it comes to tough political and social situations such as the many that have arisen in both those countries, I think it's fair to block access, at least for a while.
 
Sad part of all this Unfortunate event is that Ambassador who was murdered was actually helping the Libya . Imagine being killed by the people who you were trying to help.
Youtube did the right thing as it may save other innocent people.
 
It is there website,they can choose to restrict whatever country they want to.

Well that was funny short movie. Back in days you could just kill infidels rape women and children and no one gave a fuck, dem good times.

I get it that people get mad over this but why kill some embassy people who have nothing to do with this ? What a fucked up world this is.

The content of a single video is very important we all know that on BHW otherwise people wouldnt have youtube and clickbank methods

Seriously, what did anyone in an embassy have to do with that video?

And yes, it is Youtube's site - they should be allowed to block what they want.

If that's what it takes to save innocent lives, then we would have abolished the 1st amendment a long time ago.

People will attack people regardless of who says what. You should know that unless your just a kid. In that case I could see why you would say such a thing.

Turns out the attack was coordinated and planned. Besides, what spontaneous mob just happens to have a RPG handy?

You're right and wrong.
This has zero to do with the 1st amendment. Youtube is a business. They can show or not show any video they chose. Just because someone makes a video doesn't mean they have to show it. Frankly I'd say they should take about 90% of the crap on their site down.

But I digress.

You're correct in that it seems to be a coordinated 9/11 anniversary attack rather than caused by the video
 
It's a good thing. When people are acting based on emotions there is to need to add more oil on the fire.
I see it as good corporate (and citizen) responsibility.
