You're right and wrong.
This has zero to do with the 1st amendment. Youtube is a business. They can show or not show any video they chose. Just because someone makes a video doesn't mean they have to show it. Frankly I'd say they should take about 90% of the crap on their site down.

But I digress.

You're correct in that it seems to be a coordinated 9/11 anniversary attack rather than caused by the video

Correct. My point is that if censoring people worked, and it really did save lives to shut people up, we would have done it a long time ago as in made it a law. I was certainly not saying that Youtube was violating any constitutional law.

They should be able to do what they want in terms of what is shown or not.

the death caused by the 'movie' is a bi-product of the new anti-american sentiment in libya. when gaddafi took power through a bloodless coup d'etat he nationalized libya's oil - the highest quality sweet crude in the world. american oil companies were sent home and EVERY libyan received checks every month based on oil exports. people who had lived in tents for generations became homeowners and his approval rating was 98%; libya became the country with the highest standard of living on the african continent - if a medical operation could not be performed within its borders, the government would pay to have the patient taken abroad - for every citizen. but, america doesn't like it when you kick out their companies; like fidel and hugo have learned.
