Build a list!!!

Building a list is the greatest way to make money. Think about it. Imagine having a list of 50k subscribers who are eagerly waiting for you to sell them your next product. Even if 1% buy, which is extremely low for a targeted subscribers list, and you sell for 10$, which also is pretty low, you're still making 5k.

Building a list takes a lot of time, it took me maybe around 8 months to build my 67k list in the IM niche, and I put 5k into building it. 5k is a lot of money but I made it all back after my first mailing. The first time I mailed my list a product I was selling it for 7$ and sold well over 1k copies.

So yeah.

1. build a list
2. sell them your product or some clickbank product
3. money

What exactly did you need the 5k for? I have a limited understanding on mailing lists, but I figured you just needed a squeeze page and maybe a hundred for the traffic exchange?

I presume he used the $5k on things like solo ads. Where you pay someone for a guaranteed number of clicks (they'll mail their list your squeeze page essentially). And you'll get your subscribers from those who choose to opt in after they've seen your squeeze. As you can see, the method is easily workable however, very costly but all worth it in the end.
