I'm thinking about getting the program but I've been reading that public proxies are no longer working anymore, and that one must buy a private proxy subscription in order to get to work? Is that true cause I might aswell just pay for backlink service no?

You need some private proxies for commenting for sure. But for scraping it is not necessary, you can use public ones...

You're able to run scrapebox 24/7. If you use a service you aren't able to have it constantly run. Plus, if you own it you can afford to blast your tier 2 backlinks even. As for public proxies, they are most certainly going to bring your comment to moderation on most blogs with basic comment spam options enabled. A private proxy collection likely wouldn't get blacklisted.

ok, what's the minimum investment to mantain SB on private proxies?

You can harvest with private proxies, despite what most will tell you.
I don't think it would be wise to post with public proxies however,
they get burned out too quick which will lead to low success rates,
but even more important, you don't want to reveal your IP address
when the public proxies leak, and they will.

Scrape with public and spend $5 or $10 a month a small ampunt of private proxies.

And it's been down off and on since the weekend, so you might as well wait.
