I'm a noob and I recently started thinking of my own ways of how to make money online. I tried few methods before but nothing really worked out for me. I found out about HubPages but by the looks of it you have to be a very good writer to make any money on there. I thought of a twist. Seen as my first language isn't English I discovered an idea of looking for articles in my native language and then translating them into English and then posting onto HubPages. What do you think about this idea? Would it work out? Thanks for any comments

Translating you mean by yourself or by google? If you decided to go with google, you'll have plenty of errors.

By myself, I lived in UK for over 5 years now and my English is very good. I did English language as A level and now I'm at University doing my degree. I know it'll be time consuming. My boyfriend can always read proof whatever I translated to see if there are still any errors but it should be fine.

Here are some little tips to help you make money from hubpage.

1. Sign up for hubpage and it's money program.
2. Find a few niche with less competition and write articles around them. Ensure your article is very good, informative and grammar free.
3. Increase your friends, fan base, comment e.t.c. This will help your hub to have high ranking in their site and you will also have a top rating.
4. Build some quailty back links to each of your hubpage in order to derive traffic from the search engine.

You can also monetize your hubpage with amazon and adsense apart from hunpage money making program.

Hubpage is a good way for people with no capital to start earning money.

Bear at the back of your mind, you have to invest towards expansion. You can not rely on other people's site which i consider a rented apartment, the owner can ask you out anything.

Good luck chuck.

Thank you for the tips :) Yeah, I have to find out a little bit more about how to get more traffic to my hubs and monetize it but I was just wondering if translating is a good way to go, it's not exactly going easy way because I still have to put a lot of effort into translating but I'm better at this than at writing articles by myself.

I used to use a lot of translated material, I will give you a tip, from my experience Italian translates the best into English with very few errors.

Unfortunately I'm not Italian but thanks for the tip anyway :)

yes it might be a good way but think of it like this, if they wont come to know about your content then its not really worth regardless of how valuable it is and on other side if your content is not good then its not worth to let everyone know about it.

Bottom line is you have find balance in between of marketing your hubpage and providing informative content also, if you think that language has some very informative articles that aren't written in English yet, then you can always go for that as it will save you a ton of time that can be put into marketing your content.

Quick tip: find popular blogs in your "favourite" language, and then translate them and turn them into a blog. If the blog has hundreds of blog posts, you can translate them into english blog. A 23 year old retired millionaire gave me this tip recently. He told me he made a lot of money with this method.

Let me know about your progress. I also want to make money with hubpages.

did you do what he told you? I wonder how's it going?

So long as you are using a high quality translator and even running the material past a native English speaker to correct for errors, this idea should work fine.
