Ultimate Demon Link Tree Update Now Live

Although been messing around with a BETA link tree module from Edwinsoft for a while now the actual 1.1.0.0 update has now been released. The one thing they don't trumpet here is that this isn't classed as a version update just a major feature update. In other words this is not Ultimate Demon 2.0 as some people may have thought. good news as far as I'm concerned, it means that there are this a bigger and better things to come. If a major feature like this does not warrant a major version update you can only wonder at what extra functionality will be added when we get Ultimate Demon 2.0

I won't go over old ground. I've already done a video on some of the things you can do with this update. Things in the background include a revamp of all the sites and the database update for the built-in sites which is now version 2.0 ( the database is version 2 NOT Ultimate Demon version 2)

I'll be testing the new features over the next couple of weeks and producing any videos and new articles that might help either my members or anybody considering this as their next SEO purchase.
I won't go into too much detail here as I don't believe in writing in-depth reviews on an update that has only just come out and as yet has not been full tested and utilized.
But I'll add overtime to this thread if anyone who's interested in the new functionality.

Hey Scritty, really big Ultimate Demon an here. Been scraping lists for two days now on my VPs. If I update from the link pyramid beta to the new version will i need to backup my database because it will be overwritten with new sites? Or can i update and everythign will be fine/merged?

***Edit*** Nevermind, I took a punt and ti worked fine, my sites all remained in the database. Back to scraping!

I have about 100 sites that I get very good results with (75+ on account creation and first submission)
The scripts for these in the tool have been updated very recently (as in the video on the new post shows) so I'm going to be scraping more and testing again in the next week or so (I'm still on holiday...supposedly...lol)
Once tested these new WEB2.0s will be available for members (only those that I have success with of course)

I was getting very similar results with Nuke when I last used it. They leapfrog each other all the time. Areeb updates - Kevin or Brian update - whichever is the most recent tends to get the edge.
If you already have nuke it's not a tool I would get as well unless the cost savings are your concern. They are now very similar feature and success wise - so cost is the real issue (until CR comes out and Nuke gets a clear feature edge again)

Functionaly there are a few things not shouted.
Being able to have .txt files in a folder imported by the tool for use in projects is handy
But the link tree is the best. The ability to make structures and leave them running for a week or more in the background dripping links and content in a natural way.
To use that really well you'll need to sort and group your sites on various platforms (and of course I've already done a tutorial on that) gives you best control.

But easily the biggest tutorial DB for any tool i've seen

Case study has been waiting for this release - so as of next week it is ON and big time.
It's going to now be using a site that was hammered by Penguin (which hadn't occured when I first mooted the case study) Ultimate Demon, Scrapebox, GSA search engine ranker, some captcha solves and some proxies and say 12-16 weeks

BTW, on the subject of Penguin. If you remember I pmed you about a site i had that was hit with Penguin. I've been following your advice and it IS beginning to recover. Rankings are still very unstable and yo-yo around but overall they are moving up again. You can keep track of my site with the url/password to rank ranger i gave you if you're interested in keeping an eye on my progress.

If it works then i'll write a case study myself on the site.

However, with the new Penguin update incoming soon who knows what will happen next.

Thanks for letting us know about the update, I'm scooping it up now to test it out... The linktree feature is fantastic, so glad to see they've hammered out any bugs they found with it (haven't seen any personally). And I agree, it's awesome this isn't "V2" -- they must be cooking up some crazy stuff if this was just a standard update for them.

It took me a while to see the value in Ultimate Demon. At first it seemed a little backward, as i used to use tools like Peter Drew's Evopro which took a few clicks and automated everything. But then i realised where the power of UD is. It allows you to setup months of linkbuilding in advance and will dripfeed over time, allowing you to have control of your link velocity.

So yeah, i'm happy with the tool. I just need to keep adding new site lists. I'll be releasing the site list ipackage in Jr.VIP possibly tomorrow which should be useful for you guys.

This looks pretty cool. I was also hesitant about Ultimate Demon at first because it acts kind of laggy. However, when i got the hang of it. It is a pretty powerful tool. This update should be even better.

That's my one minor issue. The interface is very professional, the feature set is awesome, the price is easily best in class, the support from the developers is also best in class, the roadmap for the future seems stellar. It's a solid application with very few bugs (never crashed on me) that does exactly "what it says on the tin"

Just wish it was a little quicker sometimes. Not that it's a major issue for me as I drip links relatively slowly anyway, but sometimes I wish it was just 30% quicker.
Not a biggy - just a nice thing to have if they can ever achieve it.

Both are excellent tools and are the two AAA tools for top content and context link making.

Nuke has a slightly better feature set. However the guys behind Demon have been in the SEO application field longer. Bookmarking Demon is almost 7 years old and still works very well.
NukeX and Demon 1.1.0.0 are very close feature wise. The keyword analysis module in Nuke is the only real difference.

As it stands now Demon is very much better value $347 lifetime Vs $147 per month is no competition.

Areeb sent me a vid showing the main CR update feature for Nuke - scripting new sites - this morning - a good addition for some. Scripting - no matter how easily implemented - is still a "bridge too far" for many in terms of complexity ond the need to keep your own scripts constantly updated, but for others this will undoubtedly be a killer feature.

Looking at it it is more akin to the Magic Submitter style of tool, and as the owner of Zennobot and Ubot it isn't something that interests me. They are one off payment tools that, from this point, seem a fair bit more sophisticated, handling Flash and Java and with a very large feature set as well as Ubots ability to create stand alone applications.
But like I say it is a big feature and will undoubtedly appeal to some.

The point is Nuke NEEDS to move ahead feature wise. It certainly isn't better coded or more reliable than Demon. The service and support for users is the same, so to justify costing such a large amount more Nuke has to have a substantially bigger feature set, and this is sensibly what Areeb and his team are doing

So the short answer. For now Demon is by far the better value. they match each other in every metric from reliability, support and features but Nuke costs a hell of a lot more. CR update will begin to justify the price gap. If that feature is what you want - then it may be worth it for you. If you already have Ubot or Zenno then maybe not.

DBC is still probably the best. Although I now find I'm going to their site to make sure they don't have any downtime before I schedule a campaign. At least they tend to forewarn you though

All that and more.
I like to make a script that lasts for months or years - not weeks.
Scripts for WEB2 sites - if you want to do enough - it's a constant almost daily hassle to keep updating them as they change all the time (deliberately so - to foil script makers) I'd rather pay someone else to do that - it's just not a good use of my time as a resource.

Content scraping from "strange" places. (foreign language is a good one - then translate), chat bots, view counts, archive snooping, snippet grabbing.
Then there's stuff like making the odd script for a very static platform (one that hasn't changed for a year or so) that few people use (not many of them are worthwhile, the good ones all have tools already doing it better than I could be bothered to code). Parsing stuff (used to parse Warcraft Auctioneer data and have a site that watched the price fluctuations for various in game commodities across a range of 10 EU servers 5 PvE and 5 PvP - had a whole website 4 years ago that made a TON of money until about 6 months after the 2nd expansion came out and the arse fell out of the "gold guide" market that was done in VB - woulda been easier to do it in Zenno), then you can do feedwatching, RSS fetching....the list is endless.

Man - there is SO MUCH stuff Zenno can do. Why the frick people use it to recode WEB2 sites when there are tools that do that for a few hundred bucks already out there I have no idea. After 6 months of keeping say 30 platforms up to date you realise you are spending 90% of your time maintaining your software and not actually creating content and making links. In short it's a false economy, and Zenno and Ubot can both do so much more!
