A couple of things about the specific case above...
1.) The IP referred to was not the IP that you use to connect, it was the IP on our network. They are two completely different addresses. One is used for WAN connectivity, one is used to connect to the LAN IP server. On your VPS, the LAN IP was changed (from 192.168.XX.123 <- these 3 numbers.. To 192.168.XX.321. Which is not correct for your IP and our server will not allow you to go against the IP assigned to your machine.)
2.) I'm not sure who told you that about Xrumer/Hrefer, but it was not us. That is not the reason whatsoever for Xrumer/Hrefer issues on our servers and we have been 100% honest and open about this with anybody who has inquired. It has not been an issue of any type of billing or licensing, it's an issue of people abusing our servers with huge 24/7 Xrumer spam campaigns.
3.) You cancelled your account before any of these issues arose, it was actually quite confusing for me to figure that out at first. We tell people quite plainly up front, cancellations are handled automatically, along with everything else on our systems. If you cancel, our systems assume you are not wanting to continue with the services (hence, the term cancellation) and closes the VPS.
As for contact, we are usually very prompt with our responses but honestly, I spent the entire last weekend in the hospital without internet access. There wasn't much that I could do at that point.
