We have a different situation, I always get fast proxies but they die off too quickly. I just tried Proxy51 and it is absolutely terrible.

I'm quite surprised at that. I mustn't be doing anything too hardcore but I am running them literally 24/7 and after 15 days 16/20 of them are still live and working for what I use them for. Maybe I should try another service just as a comparison.

I'm the owner of Proxy51. We have a bunch of BHW members as clients and many of them have told us how happy they are (some have gone out of the way to write emails saying as such). Our #1 priority is uptime, and our #2 priority is stellar support. We work to improve both of these things every day. We are a relatively new service (January) so we are still working out some kinks and growing pains. We do experience some issues now and then, but they are rare. We are quick to admit them and very quick to resolve them when they happen.

veheme tried us out and unfortunately had a bad experience. He was unable to get the proxies to work with his setup. When customers have problems like his, we are able to replicate them and resolve them 99% of the time. Unfortunately this time there seemed to be some problems with his setup that we could not replicate, and so we were unable to help beyond a few simple suggestions. It sucks because I know he was having trouble, but we just were not able to get on the same page. So we refunded him fully at his request and were sorry to see him go.

as a donor member these are the rules to apply to sell on bhw

100 quality posts .
active for 30 days .

you then apply for a sales thread here

price - refunds - then you wait 3/4 days.

if after that you cant see your sales thread, you pm a mod once

being a donor doesnt entitle any user to a sales thread
it allows you to apply for one.

any donor member can have a link to there product in there sig
either a pic or a link, your choice.

bhw doesnt like users jumping on peoples threads/posts pushing there
services in peoples faces ..

I've only had good experiences with unreal's proxies. Proxies were fast and communication was good. The only problem I had once was that a proxy was listed on a forum spam database and wasn't really usable, and he swapped it straight away. Also his order form only works on Windows and he seems unwilling to fix the issue but that's a minor complaint. I like how you can select the geographic location of your peas. If all the proxies didn't work then it sounds like you were using the wrong authentication scheme (he uses different ports depending on whether you use IP or password authentication).

Not sure what you mean by "our setup". Are there still certain things we must do before we use your proxies because that isn't laid out in the order process in your site.

I know this is a private proxy provider review but since proxygo is here, I would just like to recommend his PUBLIC PROXIES service. It is very superb and a one-time payment is definitely awesome at this point in the SEO era. Everyday he gives out proxies twice and they are absolutely great.

what a hippocrite you are LOL, the poor guy did nothing but come here to drop a few good lines to make a stand, while it was YOU that long before him jumped into this thread unrelated, but sniffing potential buyers - to knock knock your .50c of 'here i am and my great service'. Are you searching for 'proxies' all day on BHW? I cant find a thread that mentions it without coming across your narcism

Hey,

It looks like I had your support ticket mixed up with another BHW member's, so I don't know exactly what your issue was. Can you PM me your email address?

The only "unique" thing about our setup is that we use username/password authentication, which is different than some providers. It hasn't caused any problems with any programs I know of, but it can be an initial hurdle since people aren't used to that method of authentication.

I have yet to find a reliable proxy provider to be honest. It seems almost all the providers give out temporary proxies and it is becoming annoying. Most of the providers have started their service on 2009 - 2010 so it would be expected that in their 2-3 years of service, they would have been able to find quality proxies but this isn't the case.

if you bothered to associate my reply to the comment, what i was saying was
not all sellers start good then get sloppy, some of us actually stick to what
we promise and dont deviate from it.

I have been using sharedproxies.com for a while but cancelled my subscription yesterday. Reading all the posts here and with a fair bit of due diligence, I think I will go for a combination of myprivateproxy.net (private) and proxybonanza.com (shared) as they seemed to be good price and quality wise. I have also pm one of the proxy providers at bhw, probably will wait for his response then will make a decision.

For shared, go for proxygo's service mate. When I signed up, I never looked for another service provider for shared proxies.

Yes, you can change up per month. My proxies are on 2nd month but they still work fine though.

Up to this day, I am in search for reliable & TRULY private proxies that can withstand the test of time. If you have found a good one, I would definitely consider it. If it's good, I would add it here. If it's bad, I'll post a bad review here.

After trying lots of private/shared proxy providers, I now buy mostly from:
- Buyproxies
- Proxiesforrent
- Proxy51

All three offer good quality proxies at reasonable prices. Of course some proxies are dead, but probably less than 2-3 or so on average. Blocking seems to be ok, so the proxies are not oversubscribed. And I can get new proxiy IPs easily if it becomes a problem.

Also great quality proxies are proxybonanza, but their bandwidth limit makes them more expensive for us.
