If you want to rip youtube videos, just use VLC.

You'll notice the "Remix" button underneath video. Not sure how you are not seeing any results.

It's only for logged in users. But I don't know why people always teach something but in a different way to give you hard times.

If you go to Video Editor then click on CC, there you'll find all CreativeCommons videos instantly, nothing else. You can even put one in the editor and publish on your account all directly.

Yes, but you don't have 'rights' to those videos. This is a whitehat approach so that your videos and account will stay up and in good standing.

You can rip the creative commons videos, you just have to give attribution back.
