Downloaded today to try out the trail version and it found a Tojan did a scan and also thank god I have a virus scan caught it first. Whats up with that?

Hi Real,

Kaspersky virus scanner I'm guessing? Their software has been picking up PM as a false positive for some time now due to the auto-updating mechanism.

We have been in close contact with their team trying to obtain 'whitelist' status but they are very slow to work. We appreciate your patience in resolving this matter. In the meantime, just open your Kaspersky and remove the file from quarantine. It sounds shady but it's the best advice I can offer you. Try scanning PM against other virus scanners - to my knowledge, Kaspersky is the only one flagging PM.

i m also +1 for that if its a short term test its perfect but if u looking for something longer run automated stuff which can verify and provide u proxies at particular interval u given its not for you with latest build its Evan closed/crashed without warning , i tested proxyfire , proxygoblin and proxymultiply too i am coder too so i know something is not right well its just my feed back after using it often from last 6 months best of luck

Thanks for the positive review, marks19! To speed up the program, open the Configuration window and select the General tab. Look for the setting named 'Number of threads to use (CAUTION, mouse over)'. See the screenshot for a guide [click to enlarge]:



Try raising that number, but do so slowly. If you raise it to something too high, the program will not function properly and your internet will disconnect you. For a cable user, anywhere from 50 to 75 threads should suffice and offer you great speed.

Furthermore, if you are testing for HTTP proxies (enabled under the HTTP Proxy Testing section) and SOCKS proxies (enabled under the SOCKS Proxy Testing section), the program could potentially take up to 1 minute per proxy as it tries to test for HTTP, SOCKS4 and SOCKS5 connectivity.
