Thought on Magic Submitter?

Hi there,

I'm pretty new here guys so please be kind. I've been dabbling on behalf of a friend who is broke as hell, to help promote her website.

It's in quite a competitive industry, and we have been trying blog posting, guest blogging etc, but her content is poor and I'm taking over, as she hasn't seen great results. Plus we had to recently strip some keywords out because of a local regulatory body said we couldn't use them on the site specifically - even though we want to rank for them.

I'd be paying for everything myself so don't want to throw money at stuff.

So a favour, what are members thoughts on Magic Submitter as a tool? Plus as a tool versus other similar tools?

Esp. looking for real life examples of "took us from X to X on Google" - which would be SO helpful.

Their introductory discount is appealing to me but I'm wondering if there's anything else we should be looking at?

We are happy to write multiple pieces of content to get going etc, just need someone to point us in the right direction.

Anyway, I know plenty of you guys are busy, but if you could add a comment when free, that would be great.

I used to be a BIG advocate but not anymore.

1) It's not a good first tier link building tool. It has way too many blog platforms and social bookmarks and etc. This is from their June 6th training vid - http://i.imgur.com/Lmwkw.png - do you see any Web 2.0s there? I'm sure you know the importance of Web 2.0s. I went back to using SENukeX.

2) I used the designer mode a lot and added my own sites like Angela's packets... but then I took the time to learn ZennoPoster in a week and never re-subbed again. DexLabSEO on YouTube will make you a ZP pro in under a week.

In short, I don't recommend MS anymore.

Thanks very much swi7ch. I see so many people using SENuke, moving it on a bit, is that better than Ultimate Demon then?

Price wise I see UD is cheaper but do you pay for what you get with SENuke?

if you have time to learn, zennoposter might be your choice..otherwise UD is the alternative IMHO.

IMHO, SeNuke beats UD flat out. It gets updated once-3 times a week, improving low success rates and other bugs. In short, yes, you get what you pay for. UD is also very slow and I just don't like the interface.

Im using Magic Submitter now nearly 2 years and for me its the first choice for promoting client`s websites. To explain all the different features here in this post would be an endless list. UD is actually updated just about every time you start it. It's not a version update, but scripts and sites are updated completely without the bells and whistles of a "wow - look a new version"
It's hard to say how often the update changes or adds anything, but probably a couple of times a week.

As for folow nof$%ow. Who cares?
Follow is only really good for transferrence of PR from linking site.
You can get traffic and serps rises with 100% nofollow.
These sites you see from earlier this year ranking almost exclusively with "Wiki blasts"..that's about 95% nofollow. They rank just fine. Page Rank and SERPS rank - don't get confused.
The one matters, the other is a red herring - a red herring that Google lose the exclusive patent on any time soon and probably won't give a frig about once that happens.

New version number for UD is only for major bugfix or added features. NOT for fixed scripts and new sites on existing platforms. they just happen every time you log onto the server.

Waiting eagerly for the chance to try out the new link tree module due very soon.
But in general Nuke is a little faster and currently has more features. But I find UD more stable (though they are both very stable) and a damn site more affordable. Use UD constantly and not had a single crash ever in almost 7 months.

Over the course of a year, UD at $347 for a two year license is about 15% of the price of Nuke for 80% of the functionality, and that 80% will become 90% once the link structure tool is added.

Speed. Yeah -it could do with speeding up a bit...but I drip feed links anyway, so that's not an issue for me.

Both great tools. They are the AAA standard, and using either of them you couldn't go wrong (unless you yourself are new at SEO or use the tools badly - 2011 linking methods no longer work - not the tools fault..it's YOUR fault if you don't change with the times).
As for Magic Submitter. I used it for a while, but when I want to code new tools I use Zenno or Ubit they are far better. When I just want to make links on a huge range of platforms, I use UD or Nuke. That method works very well for me, and I measure success only in dollars and cents.

So confusing. I guess the other thing then would be, which is easiest, honest opinions please. For those who know about websites (I have good working knowledge of HTML, Wordpress etc) but less so SEO - in terms of really pushing things.

I suggest you better buy zennoposter than magic submitter.

The thing with Magic Submitter is that you have to work it. Sites are changing all the time, so you have to update it to make sure submits work. I outsource the updating, so we normally get 60-80% success rate for submissions (around 90% success rate for registrations).

It sure beats doing it manually. Maybe 100% success rate, but about 10x slower...

Well then you shouldn't buy ANY of these programs because these apps require that you have basic understanding of SEO. Basic things like PR, OBLs, etc. If I were you, I would start looking at SEO services instead of using tools. You *will* do more harm than good on your sites if you buy these tools and you don't have a solid understanding of how SEO works.

Are you targeting low to almost-medium'ish competition? If so, look at GSA Search Engine Ranker. One time payment and is very very very good. So many ppl use it not just here on BHW but on TrafficPlanet, WarriorForums, etc. The only thing it can't do is submit content to web 2.0s (although you can build profile links on web 2.0 sites). You can add any site to it too but there's no GUI. It's all script-based but there's a good manual.

If your competition is medium and above, then you'll have to use combo tools like SENukeX + GSA that sort of thing.

Stay away from magic submitter. I had a real bad time with their customer service. They took my money and didn't evensend a serial and it went down hill from there! The product itself needs a steep learning curve too.

I've been using Magic Submitter for about 6 months and some of what's being said is completely false. First of all Magic Submitter has many of the same + MORE Web 2.0s pre-programmed than SENUKE which are updated constantly.

There are currently 50 sites right out of the box the web 2.0's are in the section called "Blogs" and everything from sosblogs, tumblr, to zimbio is included. I don't want to post the full list out of respect for the integrity of the software but 99% of them range from PR 3 - PR 9.

The software is almost always updated about every 2-3 days and you don't have to "fix" the broken sites constantly. The developer is constantly tweaking the native sites when they update to ensure that the success rate is high but it's never going to be 100%. SENuke sure as heck isn't. I usually get 60-80% with Magic Submitter.

Now you can scrape sites inside the software and add your own sites to post to. I think out of the box you get 300 or so article sites I've scraped around 1,300 and the software automatically sets up the instructions to post. The sites you scrape yourself would have to be updated manually if they change, but at least you have the flexibility you don't have with SENuke.

The learning curve is steeper than SENuke, it's a less intuitive interface, and about the Designer mode needed to program new platforms yes it's clunky and can be difficult to use. However, if you use the platform harvester to add sites to existing platforms you don't have to worry about messing with Designer too much.

I never have to wait more than 24 hours for a response from Support I just message the developer on Skype directly and he always responds personally. I don't think he has a Support team working him, but who better to learn the software from? I'd rather go directly to the developer and wait 24 hours, than get a response from a poorly trained support team within a few hours.

What serial you are talking about mate? MS doesn't use serial for licensing. How come Alex (developer) took your money? impossible. And if he really did it, add him on Skype and asked for refund. add me too so i can discuss about your problem if he refuses to give your money back
