I am new to this forum.A big thanks to shaqsquash,Nick Flame,Horro and all others who are helping us out.

Had a quick question. While registering for AC there is a field "Primary reason for signing up" with options:
1) To Publish Content
2) To Comment on Content
3) To Contact User
4) To Earn Money
5) To Learn More

Which one should we select - #1 or #4?

Thanks

oh my...

I had no idea it was possible to be such a noob, one piece of advice, if you can't figure it out by yourself, maybe this place isn't for you.

when signing up just select random stuff, if you want try to make it the more professional possible, but it really doens't matter, just make sure that in case you aren't from the U.S., sign up as a U.S. member nevertheless and make sure to be using a L1 or L2 U.S. proxy.

good luck...you're sure going to need it ;)

stop bashing people just because they are asking some really newbie question

I'm not bashing, sorry if it seemed that way.

but amshar's question was really that bad, it was like going into some cracking/exploiting forum and ask, "how do I turn on my PC?, do I have to connect it to a power supply first?"

and btw, if I was bashing him, I won't even bother posting the answer to his question right?

I'm sorry if it seemed a little to much aggressive by my part, it wasn't my intention. ;)

subject is right...

use the AC profits and invest in other things..rather than fully focus in AC.

My laptop's screen got damages and am working on an old computer that does not support DNS bcoz of its ram. Any idea where I can get laptops for free??? lol.......

Looked through many pages but not found the answers to the 2 below questions.

1. Once an article has been accepted, how long before it is published and you get paid?

2. Is it better to keep your writing to one niche, or can one write about a multitude of things?

Thanks in advance.

Thanks in advance.

1. usually a week after, you get payed after the article has been published on the first mass payment day after.

2. write about a multitude of things, AC won't ban you for this, you probably earn more if you write about several different subjects, and that way it's easier to find fresh content to be rewritten

Do you happen to know the payment dates or how many times per month they pay?

Thanks again!

I have 2 questions:

1. There is any limits of earnings?
2. Do I need to ask for payment? and what is the minimum payout?

Thanks (:

all this questions have already been answered a zillion times on this forum...

1. there is a theoretical limit of $600, after that you have to send them a W9 IRS Form, but before you reach those amounts just create a new account.

2. you have the option to ask for payment or to receive automatic payments, there is no minimum cashout.

phrasion, sorry to say that, your 2 answer is wrong...

1. No week after.. When they review the article and if they offer an amount, you need to click the accept button. Then in the next payment date (monday, wednesday, friday) you will get your money in the paypal.

Publishing doesn't matter on this.. Publishing date may differ according to AC's publication queue.. may take days or week to publish your articles.. But you will get paid before that...

2. Do not write on different subjects.. Only write in related 3-5 categories.. They will mark your account as spam...

i want to bring out your question number 1.

the limit of $600 might not be true.. anytime the editors might want to request you to submit them the W9 form...:)

So what would be wrong with giving them a W9 as long as you're making money and continue to make money?
