GSA Search Engine Ranker - Extremely Powerful Linkbuilding Software (Free 5 Day Trial)

I have gsa set to only post to pr1 or above (page pr), but its only posting to pr0's...anyone else having this problem?

Do you have "also unknown" checked?

It not only posts to PR 0, but it posts to them too. I've experienced this also. I think this has something to do with "use competitors backlinks" or something like this. Personally I think it doesn't make sense that such options override settings like "minimum PR". I also had the problem that when I've imported target lists with edu domains but set a filter to NOT post to edu domains it posted anyway.

Hey, maybe you should send your feedback regarding this to Sven via the feedback/suggestion button. I've talked to him about this and he says that the filter works for imported lists as well as search so it should be working.

I've got "also unknown" checked too. But it posts to PR 0 too sometimes. When I've got a clear reproducable example about the "edu-filter-problem" then I'll provide Sven directly the information. Thanks S4nt0s :)

When you get verified links for 'unknown directory' it says the verified link is the submit page. How can this be verified? It's the submit page.

Hey guys,

I too have been getting a ton of PR 0 links... is it a glitch?

You might find if a proxy your using to check pr has been flagged up by google for suspicious activity, google wont display the pr to that proxy
I was checking pr for one project from my home ip recently and had a temporary google slap.
It took a couple of hours and pr checking returned

I think it has something to do with the Page vs. Domain settings. It is showing the PR of the page in the list on the main screen in SER. If you have it set to PR 1 and Domain, it still shows the Page PR on the list of verified. So you see some zeros, but thats because your filtering on Domain not Page.

I made sure to check filter by page rank (and I have that at 2)... yet still i have so many pr 0 links being created....

will check the proxies now, could be something with those as Lee mentioned

Aaaah of course. Anon you impress again :) That's it - the page itself can have a deeper PR than the domain itself of course! THX for clearing up.

What do you guys suggest to use best Domain Or Page? I remember on the other thread people were saying Domain, Just wondering if that has changed?

You can use either one, but it's important to know that if you choose page then its going to build links a lot slower. Of course having a link on a page with the actual PR would be more beneficial then just the domain but either way you will get link juice so its a matter of if you want links built faster or if you don't mind it being slower and getting the best links you possibly can.

I've ranked many sites just using domain PR and it might even look a little more natural using domain PR. but either way would work. You can even mix it up if you want which would probably be best.

I call it using GSA for reputation management. My main money site, when doing mydomain.com search, would display silly comments on that stupid mywot site as number 2 right after my site - comments you can't really change, believe me, I've tried to contact them and they just ignore any e-mails.

So I decided to use GSA. I've gathered all the links that were further down and were either positive or neutral and started sending backlinks to them, I've also used open classifieds to put an "ad" basically describing what my site is about in a nice spintax format.

Two days later the mywot is down to #5 and I will keep on pushing till it's off of the page one.

There's a lot of helpful information here and it's a long thread and it will only get longer and longer.

It takes a long time to read everything here and sift through the less informative posts. The same applies to captcha sniper.

I'm considering making a forum where all posts can be categorized, sticky posts, etc.

What do you all think, I don't want to waste my time if nobody is going to use it. It won't take long to build, just a few days and there are so many advantages. Let me know, if I get enough interest I'm happy to start work in the next few days.

Just to prove your point, starting a forum has been talked about in this thread and the last one multiple times. People came to different conclusions.

That's what I was hoping for, a conclusive conclusion. A forum needs a community, so if enough people want to then I would start it.

I've seen it being talked about a few times, I've read this entire thread.

Maybe if enough people say 'yes'. Then it would work. What do you think Anon752? Yes or No?

And S4nt0s - I'm was wondering if you would also be interested in providing some feedback on a forum such as the one I'm suggesting. I'm not suggesting you move all support from BHW, but this might be easier for users to find information. What do you think?

It probably wouldn't be the best idea because we have plans to do this in the future. There isn't a set date or anything and that's why I didn't want to announce it because it was just talked about recently and isn't 100% official, but most likely this will happen. I didn't want to announce it here and then get 10 people asking me every week when the new forum would be available.

I wouldn't want you to take the time to create one and go through the hassle if we're going to be creating one in the future. (unless you really wanted your own forum)

As of right now there are plans to make a forum, but there is no set date. If I had to guess it would be happening within the next month or two. (possibly sooner)

Update 3.78 is available now :)
3.78 - fix: bug in content length cut (variables are now inserted before doing it)
- new: ability to check all search engines with English language
- new: ability to disable log by popup menu (might speed up things if you don't need it)

When I create an email or use one I already have and test, I get the logon failed error. Anyone else had this issue?

i usually use hotmail accounts and they log in and test fine.. maybe check ur pop settings?

@s4nt0s did u ever get any news from sven about the problem with using site lists for projects and the log showing 0/0 found urls? and if the projects use the verified and/or submitted and/or identified lists?
