Hi everyone,
I have been working with clickbank since "Account Information (opened 18 Sep 2005)". I have worked very slowly building up my sites.
This is how went about getting traffic to my sites which. Without traffic there are no sales.
When I build a site I want my site to have more than 100 pages to start before I even begin linking. Make sure the site is focused on your product. Do not put to many distractions on each page. We want the visitors to purchase your products.
I don't use the stuff the affiliates give you because everyone is using it. I like to review or talk about something and integrate the link to the product when I am talking about it.
This is how I start off
1. First I research keywords. I separated the keywords into groups. Really Easy to rank, Easy to rank, Medium Difficult to rank, Difficult to rank.
2. The really easy to rank keywords are the keywords that all you need to do is optimize your pages and you are on the first page. I choose 20-25 really easy keywords and optimize 20-25 pages to optimize those keywords on. (Tip make sure the traffic for the keywords are at least 50-100 month. This will get you some easy free traffic.)
3. The next group of keywords (Easy to rank) I choose between 20-25, I optimize my pages. These keywords will not get to the page 1. I do not start building links to these pages yet.
4. I do the same with the Medium and Difficult keywords, until I hit 100 pages of fully optimized keyword pages. I do not build links to these pages just yet.
5. All articles can be written by you or hire someone to write them for you. Make sure your articles contain pictures / videos and are 500 words. I normally put a tip box on the page.
Once you have your site start building your web 2.0 pages. These can consist of wordpress, typepad, blog etc.. I usually choose around 10 different ones. Signup with a different email and username to each of these. Create 1 article on each that have pictures videos. Do not put any links. Of course these will need to be similar as your niche.
Now create a list of keywords. You can use Google keyword tool. Place them in descending order from highest traffic to lowest. Do you use the keywords you researched for your base 100 pages. Take the first keyword and write and article, place it on your site. Next 4-5 days move down the list and write an article on the next keyword and so on.
Go back to the web 2.0 sites that you created and do the same for each. I know its a lot of writing. Place a new article on each of the sites every 5-6 days. When you have 3 articles on each site the 4th you can place a link back to your site.
I use other links building techniques. I do not use many automated tools.
I use scrapebox only for research
I use article marketing robot but I do not blast articles to every site
All blog commenting I do manually, I look at each blog and read them.
I don't ping I let Google find links naturally
I post in forums, I don't just create an account and place a link, I answer questions and only after some time do I place a link.
I release press releases.
I do post links on wiki pages.
Yes this is a slow process and you will not make tons of money in the beginning but that is not the point. What we are trying to build are authority sites, build a list and build passive income using clickbank products.
I have many different sites and products that I sell but what I have found is that the monthly recurring products are the best in the long run.
I hope this helps I will add on more later.
Thanks
Neeoo
