Spasm and Cakeslice

UPDATE: Spasm has not returned my PM {three of them} since my posting of this thread. Nor has he answered my PM on the cake slice private forum.
I have not received a refund, nor do I expect one. I expect that he has seen a huge decline in the current month renewals in membership to his service and is holding on to the money that he has recieved.
As far as I am concerned he is a piece of shit. He not only put out a product that does not work but will get you banned from your CPA contacts.
I don't think that he put out the product to scam anyone...I think he put it out before he actually tested it enough. I believe that he is now in a bind and is holding on to my/our money hoping to ride out the shit storm.
I am not posting this to recieve the measly $48 refund but to warn other members of this forum to stay away this membership.

Getting banned is fine if you are doing it on your own. If you are paying a fee for a service that is suppose to stop you from getting banned, there is an issue. And since he paid for the service and didn't get paid from the CPA company, of course he is going to be upset.
My understanding is that they fixed the leak...is that true? I have been thinking about signing up for the service but a thread like this gives me pause for obvious reasons.

I think he should get a refund.
I doubt it will waited almost 2 weeks before I made this post. Figure I ought to warn everyone else in case he comes back

Just canceled my subscription - Never really had the chance to put this to the real test as I read so many posts of people getting banned and I have some nice CPA accounts that I would be really pissed to get banned from.\

The question is where is spasm? He hasn't been here since Dec 25th, much less his support forum since Dec 22nd. Havn't seen him on AIM either.

I'm really sorry to those who lost network accounts. Those accounts are far more valuable than the price of most products that are intended to enhance success with networks.
I think there's always a risk when you buy electronic goods and services from a vendor in any situation, but especially in IM forums ... and most especially BH IM forums.
That said, there are many excellent vendors on this forum, such as Uptown, OldenStyleHats, Troph, Wealthy, Boomer, Wealthy, DominateIM, Bodeezy, Freq, OddJob, Nevarc, Gen ...
I'm sure I've missed quite a few in my list above so I apologize in advance for that. But my point is that the real standouts such as those named above, are those who take extra care in their customer service and support. I know it's hard to know how it will go in advance, but you can protect yourself best by purchasing from those whom have both a good history and recommendations from senior members here. That's not to say that those histories and recommendations comprise an infallible failsafe; they don't. There exist too many factors outside of any vendor's control.
As a disclaimer, I don't purchase that much in BST for the simple reasons that 1) I'm not really black hat so I purchase only those products that have a practical white hat application that I can use, and 2) I'm busy with taking care of a family, my clients and with the general chaos of life -- like most of us.
All that said, losing a good CPA network affiliate account can be painful. Personally, I won't jeopardize my own accounts knowingly. But I'm disappointed that a product was sold here that "guaranteed" protection with certain procedures and failed to either deliver or make good on the promises in the sales copy.
This is no reflection on the Admins or Mods here, of course. No forum can actively police this sort of activity without entirely exhausting the (fantastic but unpaid) staff.

Say if you came out with a script/program and you were excited and thought you were set for life. Then it all just comes right from under you.
Then you will feel like spasm is feeling right now. We have congratulated, given, and now taking away(asking for refund).
I guess I am guilty too because I received my refund.
But now there is no need for cakeslice because GUMP came right behind it.
Just to remind you. If someone builds something, someone can come right behind you and make it two times better.

I cancelled my Cakseslice subscription prior to the second billing due in January.
Well I wasnt charged for the second month but guess what?
Somehow magically without any input from me a new subscription was created and I was just charged again!
Im ofcourse disputing this with Paypal.
