Been looking at this guy for a couple years now. His title isn't really anything special, I've tried using the same keywords on listings and yet, I can't get the same traffic he is.
Tested different price points, etc....

Another seller I know, has also tested and can't seem to get the same results.
Perhaps, he's got a Ebay contact that is pushing results to him.. or maybe some form of off-site promotion linking to the listing?
I'd sure like to know, anyone have an idea?

Search for item number, 120334107514
Title: Promagnum XL

On Ebay (since I can't post links)

$270,000 from a single item?

I just want to cry.

It should make you want to top that number and not cry! Time to change your mindset dude, or you won't succeed anytime soon!

Like I have the slightest bit of chance to top 5% of that number not to talk about just one item

maybe he drives traffic from fb fan pages where he posts links of his products or youtube

Are you sure that those sales numbers are accurate? If they are, we should have a contest to see who can top those numbers lol!

If you search for promagnum xl on Google you will see that his eBay shop is on page 1 there .... only link higher ranked than him is the manufacturer himself ....

Next, he is selling the item at more than 50% cheaper than the manufacturer ...

Some weeks ago something similiar happened to me. I listed Diablo 3 on eBay and already the first day I got hundreds of views. Reason was that the link to my auction was suddenly listed on Google Shopping, I do not know how and why .....

PUT MY MONEY WHERE MY MOUTH IS!' gotta quote this from the description of the item :D

he better not put something else in his mouth lol people would be asking for refund all the time then ... :p

p.s. I bet he is the manufacturer himself, he jacked up the price on his original website, then reduced the price on his ebay listing ...

He is selling without any competition.Search for promagnum xl on ebay, you will get only 12 listings, and all from the same seller ....
So it is easy to get much traffic and sales, if someone wants to buy this product, he HAS TO buy from him.

Hah...wow.

For the screencap of feedback he has listed in the description he just took all the over the top comments and linked them together....you can see they are all spread out over a year. Hell he might have even paid those people.

The "manufacturer website" is probably his and he uses it just for an added incentive on the ebay listing. I have a feeling "Metaherbal" is also him.

Never amazes me how stupid and gullible people are....crazy how many have sold. Gotta give him credit though.

The manufacturer website is his own site for sure .... the order buttons do not work, if you click on them nothing happens ...
Also strange, the feedback capture is from 2006, why so outdated?

Next thing, Promagnum XL was sold on Amazon for a long time, why did they remove it now?
Also look for "arouse-rx" on eBay, same strategy, selling without competition and same manufacturer site with rip-off prices ....

This is ummm....nuts.

How could people buy something that makes such completely ludicrous claims??

A gain of 4-6 inches in 45 minutes!?? LOOOOOL

And I believe the feedbacks shown on the sales page are mostly fake.

Some of them are just too ridiculous and echo the impossible claims made by the sales page.

What we can learn from this:

One may set-up their own big, fancy website and charge extraordinary prices for a product that meets a certain need in a certain niche. Site need not function properly.

One may then head over to eBay or a similar site and make seemingly "low price" listings for the items from the big, fancy website

By doing this one may present an illusion of reputation and quality and thereby massively increase the perceived value of the eBay listing.

Thus,

Cornering market on an item is good

Cornering market and subsequently presenting exclusive discount is better.

Buyers of a product that cannot possibly do what it claims are particularly susceptible to flagrantly outrageous claims.

So this would also explain why he uses feedback from 2006, so if it is fake nobody will find out because nobody would be willing to dig through 40000 feedbacks ...

So that means you were selling the same product? As he seems to be the only supplier, where did you buy the items from?
Because if you bought from him, how did you manage to sell at a lower price than he sells?
