Hi there,

I've never sold a Domain name to this date, but I'm curious about it so I just felt like I had to ask some questions.

First, If let's say a famous mobile phone company are coming out with a new phone model and haven't bought the domain name for the specific model, would that domain be worth something. Let's say like Sony Ericsson comes out with "Xperia x10", would "xperiax10 (dot) com" or ""xperiax10 (dot) net" be worth something? Or "sonyericssonxperiax10 (dot) com"?

Second, are there big difference in the price of a (dot) com domain and a (dot) net?

Third, Where do I sell my domains, and how do I know what price I should sell it for? Are there any tools for this, or do you just have to go by what you think?

Forth, do you have any tips on what domains are worth something? Please share everything you've got! :-)

Thanks in advance,

Rob :-)

if you have a trademark on your domain, the trademark owner can take your domain if he wants that

Oh, I didn't know that. But what domains are you making money with? What do people want? Are there any place to check what domains that are selling? :-)

usually the company that you registered you domains with should have a option where you can sell your domains. Also I would check being careful putting tade mark names on domain names could be risky copy write that is.

You might get better results if you develop a review site and put adsense (or any other CPA offer). Although its not totally risk free but better option than to sell the domain. Trying to sell copyright name is a big NO especially if you're in US or any other country where cyber laws are very strict.

Okay! Do a domain like "freeplaystation3" count as copyright intruding?

No, I think that's alrite. Shouldn't be copyright issues there, unless you add the word Sony to it.

better you don't use trademark name on your domains.. that can make many problems with you next time..
