PRWEB.COM - Press releases - Can this help my site?

I have purchased 10 prweb.com PREMIUM press releases and I will be using this on one specific site where it is already established, but I'm struggling to gain top stop on the search engines for the specific keywords.

Obviously, I have chosen the best package, each press release costs $1500 EACH. Have i made a mistake? Will these press release's help my site higher in the rankings? - It will get good backlinks from high authority websites so I'm guessing so?

PRWEB will be writing each release. So the quality of each release should be good.

You may want to diversify your link profile.

Having 10 of same blasts of links, even as good as they may be with PRweb.com, you should not place all your links in one area.

There are many sources where you can get links from and services willing to assist you to get them.

Hi shawn, I'm looking to spread the links over a few pages/categories. I'll do around, say 4 PR's on my main keyword and the rest concentrating on a mixture of keywords? Which obviously will point to different sections of the site.

$15000 is a hell of a lot of money to spend on one form of backlinking. Once your site has backlinks from these high PR sites getting a further 9 backlinks from them are practically redundant. You could have bought a few thousand articles and used them on your site to increase income, drive traffic, post to article directories and help your site rank better (and still have money left over for other methods)

Spending 15k on prweb is a huge mistake, one link is enough. go get a refund if you can. you can get much better results from buying lots of services on this forum, or even start your own private blog network. lots of things can be done with 15k, you can even hire a pro seo company to do things for you.

LOL! I use PRweb, it's fantastic, but I only pay about $120 per release for the premium. Be sure to write good content and news sites will pick it up. There's a lot of free press release sites out there too that will do the same thing. I can post links if anyone is interested? PRweb is easy for backlinks, I can't complain. Albeit a bit pricey.

$1500 - $120 = $1380

Use that for good quality content. And I mean good quality content. Even something as mundane as placing all that content on your website only will give you more link authority than just posting on PR websites.

Its the law of diminishing returns. The more Press Releases you do, the lower the return from them. So please diversify as its only good for you.

Did you just spent 15 grand on one form of backlinking? With 15k I could get 10 high competitive sites to #1 with no problem. As for press releases, the same content is gonna get syndicated to the same sites, so buying 10 of them is way overkill.

prweb is a great service and offers a lot for mainstream companies who have the large budgets to afford their services.

We use PRWEB for our press releases and they are really good, if you pay a little bit more you can get some great backlinks for some high PR sites... Although the amount you paid does seem a little to expensive...

I think using PRWeb is good, but you are planning on spending too much for what you get.
I see they charge $325/each to write a press release, and that isn't including distribution.
Just pay for the distribution, and write them yourself, or find someone more affordable.
