Not a rip on the software, just a straight up fact we just learned: One of our competitors is using NoHandsSEO on purpose as part of a Negative SEO service they offer now to their more 'underground' clients. I don't know exactly how they are running it to do that, but they are swearing by it....
So a competitor or the company hired by your competitor to maliciously damage your website admitted they were using a promotional tool to damage your website? This sounds totally plausible (sarcasm).
Let me spell this out for all the people that are wanting to come in and try to make it look like my tool is dangerous. I have shown time and time again that every instance of
"NHSEO being responsible for a penalty" has been a very new website that is still seeing a google dance and still indexed or relying on atrocious on-page tactics that have been proven many times to be damaging.
You only need to look at the example on this very page, this is very indicative of the type of people claiming NHSEO to be damaging. An individual will come forward with "proof" that NHSEO damaged their website and lo and behold it is a new website that still is not established in the rankings.
If NHSEO is so damaging that this so called "Negative SEO" is being performed on your website why in the hell would they not just use any other simple blog commenter or single focus link poster and enter in a single anchor text and heavily spam a list of AA blogs? It would be so much easier to use a simple blog commenting tool that will perform a single task over and over to create a very predictable linking pattern. NHSEO has lots of built in randomisation and by default uses multiple linking target platforms.
For example NHSEO searches, checks links, pings, varies posting platforms, crawls websites and so many other things as part of its promotion process some of which would be a pain to get around for every profile.
There are lots of tools that could be used to post the same anchor text, message, email combo to a bunch of AA blogs repeatedly to
try and damage a website so why does NHSEO get such a bashing in this regard when there are so many other facets to it?
