CAPTCHA SNIPER definition files - 32 ADDITIONAL CAPTCHAS...mostly for GSA

Have an issue with the Destruction Kit - sent an email to support but no reply ...

... I saved a user defined captcha type and it is listed - problem is I can't add any more as I get a Run-time error and "Syntax error in UPDATE Statement' and any Types that I saved have disappeared although they are shown on the main page but I can't edit them anymore ??? :(

If I was using CS with GSA should I just choose all the User Defined profiles or are there others you'd recommend? At the moment I just choose all the captchas...which is hardly ideal, I hear.

how long did you give for us to reply? Our normal response time is around 3-4 hours, which is about the best you find in this business. Ocassionaly its 10-12 hours when you time its just right and Im about to hit the pillows, and its never longer than 24 hours. So please dont write 'but no reply', regardless of your intent. The reason I get upset is that wether we (as software vendors) like it or not, depend on our online reputations, and you never know how people will interpret whatever it is that youre trying to say. Ok rant over ...

I have not received any emails to support regarding this error. At any rate, it sounds like somehow your captchasniper.mdb file got hosed. Make a backup of it and then just reinstall with a fresh one it should fix u up. If not, send an email to [email protected] and ill get you sorted.

NEVER SELECT ALL CAPTCHAS. Select ONLY the ones that match the footprints between CS and GSA. You'll have to expand the tree in GSA to see the actual footprint names as they appear in CS.

Fair enough. Any plans to have a feature which allows you to save the types of profiles you're using for different packages?

Just a note that this will be the person you are working with.

Background on situation:
- Bought the software and found that it did not work as well as I thought.
- Politely asked for a refund, and they denied.
- Said that because I had an unpleasant experience, I would be making a negative review video
- Got this email

Not very professional product or supplier.

I have only had great experience with support they are always very friendly. You must have said something very rude to instigate that.

He felt threatened because he didn't want to give up the refund and he knew that a negative review would cost him more than that 1 sale.
Pride vs. Business

Looks like pride won out. haha

I use destructionkit create a SMF captcha type, 100% success rate. and just select this type, but it return error: unkown captcha.

Indeed this guy is not telling the whole story. I will let you guys decide whose pride is hurt ... (and btw is has nothing to do with pride .. this KID has words wrong)

Well the video is a legitimate review, hence why it is not uncalled for.
I understand how that might hurt your business, but you might also understand how not being refunded might hurt mine.

I believe it is a fair trade, as you do not lose anything by refunding a digital product. And I also offered to pay any fees associated with that.

Still open to a conversation if you are interested. Not a threat, just damage control at this point. Because legitimate negative reviews could lose more sales than just one.

Best,
Ryan

Wow, you've turned from polite nice guy into epic douche bag quite quickly. One thing youll learn in business, when you grow the fuck up, is that threats never work. Go fuck yourself prick, you sound like a fucking little girl in your lame video.

No Problem Mikey.

I'll just make sure that I rank my negative review on the first page of google for "captcha sniper".

Hi Ryan,

Unfortunately, I have no way to revoke a license, hence the policy that's in place. Are you interested in the free copy of Forum Bot?

Best,
Mikey

Hi Mikey,

I appreciate your quick response.

Thanks for updating me on your policy.
I can only ask for lenience since the digital product is software (as opposed to information) and that I've had it for less than 24 hours.

I fully know that this was not your fault, but mine.

I will surely purchase again in the future when the funds are available. But right now, I just can't afford to pay $77 for a program I can't currently use. (around 90% of my captchas are recaptchas)

Anything you can do would be greatly appreciated.
I would be happy to make a donation for your time or to cover any fees associated with the refund.
I'm 19 and just trying to make it through IM one step at a time!

All the best,
Ryan

Hi Ryan,

Thanks for your message. Our refund policy is as follows and is clearly stated on our homepage:

If you have any problems with Captcha Sniper, please contact our support team - [email protected] immediately. Be prepared to provide detailed information on the technical issue you're having and to provide remote access in the event that its requested.

In the event we are unable to get Captcha Sniper running on your system, we will issue a full refund within 10 days of purchase. In all other cases, we do not issue refunds due to the fact that Captcha Sniper is a digital good and all sales are final.

With that said, Im not sure what led you to believe that the Recaptcha type was supported. It should have been very clear that its not. As a gesture of goodwill, I can offer you a free copy of Forum Bot if you are interested.

Best,
Mikey

Subject: Captcha Sniper

Hi!

I just ordered captcha sniper yesterday and was bummed out to find that it didn't work with the main re-captcha image.
I spent an hour or so in the destruction kit (awesome tool by the way) before I gave up on it.

If you don't mind, could I get a refund?
I'm sure I will be buying again in the future, it's just that I used my captcha buying funds here, and will still need to run my blasts until the recaptcha is solved.
(I'll be lurking on BHW for that for a while!)

I am very sorry for the trouble :(
Thanks in advance for understanding.

Best,
Ryan

I say good job to Mikey for telling him like it is, hate all the scammers, fraudsters, whiners, and everything in between that makes it difficult to do business online these days. It's not Mikey's fault that you didn't do proper research before spending your last dollar, so it's pretty low that you are so desperate for your refund that you try to defame his business online when he isn't responsible for your decisions, only you are! Does his product say that it supports recaptcha? NOPE, and it's not hard to see that it's not listed as a supported by looking on his sales page, where it clearly lists all the types that it supports, DUH. God forbid you spend a minute and research Google to confirm that it doesn't work either, very easy to find the info that way too. And I think everyone knows that digital products and software are non-refundable unless a refund policy is provided, so don't know why you think you can screw up making an impulse buying decision that was the wrong one in your case and expect to blackmail your way to a refund. Unreal!

"what goes around comes around", so good luck to you

Thanks for the support bro ... you're dead on .... its really amazing the level of rudeness and shadyness that takes place in the online world as 'customers' think that since they can hide behind a keyboard, they can do whatever they want. I tried to handle it professionally and offered a free copy of forum bot and would have probably eventually granted a refund had he not come across as such a d-bag. I hope he learns that no matter what business you're in, be it brick and mortar, online, whatever that theres an appropriate way to handle yourself and he clearly missed it on that front.

Here is the settings I am using to solve mgb guestbook. I am getting 51% success with this.

normalize
threshold 8%
blur 1x1

tbk guestbook
posterize

-click the OCR tab and uncheck alpha, lower case, upper case.
-this captcha type only uses numbers so just make sure number is the only thing checked.
