Good Morning BHW, after thinking so hard about coming on here to make a case study of a client am trying to improve their serp online, I decided some of you might gain something in what am about to do.

How I Will Rank A Client On Google

Today I will be ranking a site on Google for client whose niche is in bedroom. Our competitors are big brand, Ikea, homebase, sharp, Mark and Spencer.

Domain registered in 2010

Keyword one (5400 exact - without quote 7,460,000 results with quote 895,000 results Competition - Hard)
Keyword two ( 720 exact - without quote 10,800,000 results with quote 753,000 results Competition - Hard)
Keyword three (5400 exact - without quote 2,760,000 results with quote 2,490,000 results Competition - Hard)

What will I use to accomplish the task

Web 2.0
Articles
Wiki
Profile (non popular footprint will be used with this)
Social
Social Bookmarking
Private Network (When I say private network I mean private network not shared with no one - OUR BIGGEST WEAPON TO USE HERE)
The strategy, the link structure to be used here will kept quiet as I worked so hard to structure a nice working strategy, above are the links type to be use

Ranking Report
Site keyphrases are no where to be found as of today.

What have I done so far?
Link build structure has been created and the below backlinks has been done today
Web 2.0
Articles
Social
Social Bookmarking
Private network blog post

I will proceed in couple of hours to gather all the links and index the backlinks.

I will update this thread daily to tell you what has gone on. The ranking reports, link build etc.

Since it is hard niche, for the final outcome it would be nice to know will you spread links over some time or blast, will you use unique content or spin, how many links from each backlink source?

No, I will be using a spun content (60% uniqueness)

Am not counting but it will be in the hundred, I always believe in quality, I want to build as few backlinks as I can and still achieve a better result.

From where you get that the competition is Hard? And are you using some link pyramids scheme with tiers or all your BLs pointing to main site?

What are your competitions link strategies like? Your clients site is 2 years old but what is current link velocity like? If the competition are the big brand names you mentioned, it may be difficult to get lasting results. I'll be interested to see how this one pans out in a month or so.

To be honest with you I don't check competition link strategies, have been in this game long enough to know what works and what doesn't. My client site has no backlink profile, yes some of the competitors are big while other half are just medium guys

dude, thats not what that means. Thats only indicative of how many people are bidding on that search term for adwords. Nothing to do with serps mate.

Try giving us the allintitle:kw results for your kw to give us a rough idea.

Sure I do know the keyword competition is for ads. Sorry for not checking TT first just been lazy. However traffic travis stated

Keyword one - Medium Difficulty
Keyword two - Medium Difficulty
Keyword three - Very Difficult

I work as an seo consultant for a marketing agency and also run my own marketing site.
